  2. A friend did it 2 days ago with fins. It went well but lost board on deployment. He did a rolo on the exit and a couple of spins in freefall, was fun. About halfway in this video is another guy doing it 4 yrs ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9T04Dc4Q_g HISPA #93 DS #419.5

  5. Your instructors will tell u all about it. What worked for me in short (5sec) freefalls was to keep my eyes on the plane, just watch it fly away. HISPA #93 DS #419.5

  7. I use a chest mounted Altimaster for freefly, tracking jumps, and wingsuits. I found its very easy and convenient in freefall. I also wear a Viso on my wrist because after opening the chest mount moves up with the harness and its not that easy to look at. I dont think the pillow affects accuracy at all. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  8. This are my best shots, because they are the only ones. From my first weekend jumping with stills. Any advise, beside cleaning the lens? HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  9. Have not done this enough times to reach any conclusion, but I have tried the atmonauti position during 6-8 tracking jumps. I noticed that I went ahead and up. Like if I was getting more fwd speed and less fallrate. Is that the norm or is it just me? I read somewhere that it was the opposite when comparing atmo vs track... HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  10. Voted less than 200 and i think it was stupid... Started on #113 #115 forgot to turn on the camera #117 forgot goggles on the ground #179 found myself on a 3way sit at 3000' when break off was at 5000' All those I knew I had to watch out for, and still happened . So if you dont got the jumps and are thinking about it, learn from my stupidity and get more jumps. HISPA #93 DS #419.5

  19. Viso is not any kind of audible, it doesnt beep in freefall or under canopy. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  20. airplane racist We fly a 206...yesterday we had a visit from 3 jumpers. 1 aussie and 2 from USA. Wont say names, but 1 is a current 4way national champion, another was a experienced BASE jumper that has traveled all the world jumping, so they been around. Im 100% sure we make their top 10 and they only made 2 jumps. Sometimes location, staff, and regulars weight more than 5 otters and 3 skyvans. Quality vs quantity. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  21. The Viso gives you 2 options to mount it. With a single strap or with the finger ring. I like that option. But I agree, they should come up with a more convenient way to mount it. But its not hard to figure out how to do it. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  22. Theres nothing missing man j/k You want to mount the Viso unit to the other side of that velcro, using the velcro to cover up the black cord you use to tie the unit. The velcro will then be the part resting against the top of your hand. Just tie it tight and secure and jump it. Or send it to me and Ill mount it for you. Im not a rigger but I have common sense. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  23. heres what i figured out... there must be 368 more ways hope it helped HISPA #93 DS #419.5
