  1. How about upsizing one size at a time? I dont feel that going from my small Aerobat to a SM1 or Stealth would be wise. Maybe do like 50+ jumps with a medium suit like a Raptor or something. Opinions/experiences? HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  2. yo jeff... theres a thread asking for pictures of the NEW Vx3. Post your avatar in there so they get an idea HISPA #93 DS #419.5

  4. sorry wont happen again (today) my point was that i thought that an average tracker should be able to "flare" enough to achive a 1:1 GR, cuz im not special and I can do it without 'goin 4 it'... My guess was that the best trackers could get 1.3-1.5:1 easy maybe Im wrong in my asumption and 1:1 is a lot Jarno, how about .9:1 from 18-40sec, with the 1:1 in between from 21-34sec? Thats a 22sec flare! Ill go for it this weekend, Ill track like a stolen banshee and keep the numbers to myself HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  5. I always thought 1:1 was a normal tracking...and Im short and heavy (5'6" 165lbs). Ill try for max glide tomorrow to see what comes up. HISPA #93 DS #419.5

  11. Just my opinion... If I come here askin for help and say "Please vote for X" and someone says "X sucks, Im voting for Y, and I hope Y wins"....in my book, hes an asshole. Its not about pretty pictures, biggest publications or cute babies, its about the attitude. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  12. Have you been reading my mind??? Its cool if someone doesnt wanna help, but voting for his competitor? wtf HISPA #93 DS #419.5

    PD Storm

I had the opportunity to demo a Storm 150 this past weekend (thanks Kim). Only did 2 jumps with it, Ill explain why ... I was at a boogie flying wingsuits at an unfamiliar DZ with very few outs. My demo was a 0 jump canopy, I can tell because the line attachments were still loose. The brake lines were way too long, I had to pull down to my ears (more than 1 foot) for the tail to deflect a little. On top of that, it had a slight built in turn to the left. To keep it flying straight, I had to pull down on the right toggle all the way to my shoulder, leaving me with very little and uneven flare on landing time. I think its not wise to fly a canopy like that, when the chances of landing out are greater because of the wingsuit, and you have very small and few and appart outs. And its not fun to pack a 0 jump canopy at a boogie were you wanna do a lot of jumps So this morning I sent it back I have 400+ jumps on a 7cell the same size (150), so Im gona compare the little I can. The 2 openings were wonderful, quick, soft and onheading. It had a lot more glide and the front riser preassure was a lot harder than with my other 7cell. Sorry I cant say nothing about the stall point, or flares, or deep brake flying, or the landings because of what I already stated. I want to demo it again on another occasion....I could fell the potential on those 2 jumps. PS. I think maybe the built in turn was because the lines were not completly set (loose attch points), but I didnt feel like dealing with that issue at that moment under that circunstances. 15. I did 3 wingsuit free fly jumps this weekend. One Otter load was sponsored by Tony Suits, another by VASST and a CASA load sponsored by Rick on his #1000. Free jumps rule! HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  16. Niiice event! Had a great time. Good to see everyone again and meeting the rest... Thanks to the organizers, to Tony Suits, Rick and Spot for the free loads, and to everyone that made it happen. Ill link the first video. Its not a big or tigh formation, and its not a super high quality editing like they are gona post later, but it sure was fun watching it. Its called BurbleMike http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iR2f_IxzYw HISPA #93 DS #419.5

  18. Point taken about the sun's distance.... HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  19. Apparently your guys didnt track after break off, they are making very big spirals and they have 4 suns? One sun for every jumper? Check my picture. If I can attach it. Black X is the breakoff point, black dot is the opening point after tracking, colored circle is the area needed to spiral safely and the red square is the landing zone. They have 2 options: 1. Do slow spirals to go down staying in the same vertical area. Looks safe. 2. Follow the arrows towards the sun, flying around blind and diminishing the horizontal separation. No thanks. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  20. I dont know man...what if its 12 noon and the sun is straight up? I was told during AFF to do slow spirals till Im out of the cloud, and it makes perfect sense to me. Theres no danger of hitting anyone if everybody does the same nad its the faster way out... HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  21. was he a very very handsome dude? Ill be there again this year with 2 more wingsuiters. Oh and docjohn, i bouch for Joni's FFC. I heard its a good one. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  22. I've been surfing for 20yrs+ and never heard of that... But I can tell you its not the same 'arch' as in skydiving. Surfing is chest up while the rest of the body is flat. In skydiving is more like hips down. From what I have experienced in both sports, the 'bent' on the back is at different places. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
