  1. Weather's been terrible since yesterday, and they say it wont stop till Wednesday.... If you only have 1 day, do what tourist do in Old San Juan. Walk around the old streets, visit El Morro, shop around, good restaurants, enjoy our hotties etc etc Old San Juan is the place to be if you only got 1 day. Have fun... HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  2. Im sure you know more than me, youre a fighter. I just said that bcuz last time Matt gave his back to Trigg. He escaped that, but I think Gracie has a lot more technice than Trigg. And if Im not wrong, Royce is about 20lbs heavier. If Matt makes same mistake, he will tap. Its a gamble, but my $ still with Gracie. ($1) HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  3. WOW!!! That would be THE fight. I thought Gracie was retired.... I think Matt is almost invincible, only lost 4 times with 40 wins. But the 4 losses have been by submission, and thats Gracie specialty. But Hughes has incredible streght and knows how to use it. Very hard to predict, buy Ill say Gracie by submission. Probably choked from behind. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  4. It all depends on how long you are staying. I have a beach house in Rincon, great place if you want a mellow vacation, beautyful place but not much to see. Very laid back life style over there. Surf and sun. The DZ is in Arecibo, get on a load and you can see the telescope from the plane, I saw it today If you have time, go to the other side of the island (east) and check El Yunque (tropical forest) or go to Fajardo and get a ferry to Culebra Island. I highly recomend that, most beautiful beaches are there. Welcome and enjoy your visit. And dont fall in love with our hotties.... HISPA #93 DS #419.5

    "Stunt Junkies"

Next week episode description: During the week, Greg Gasson is a mild-mannered software engineer at the University of Arizona in Tucson. But on weekends, he turns into a superman. Greg is one of the world's most accomplished and respected skydivers, with a habit of making outrageous stunts look easy. On Stunt Junkies, Greg will attempt to jump out of one plane, fly through the air at an altitude of 11,000 to 15,000 feet and into another plane, without ever opening his chute. It's a daring experiment involving terminal velocity, aeronautic daredevilry and split-second timing. Airs Jan. 18, at 10 p.m. ET/PT That I got to see.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HISPA #93 DS #419.5

  13. Hello everyone, Notice my # of jumps. This is only my view as a student. I started AFF last week and did 2 jumps without radio. I was taught to recognize a malfuction, and what to do. I was taught canopy control, the fly pattern, read the flags, and how and when to flare. And they also showed me some hand signals from the ground to tell me if my approach to land was a correct one. Maybe thats "old school", but it worked out fine for me. However, I dont think its a bad idea to use radios as backups. Anything to make us safer... Blue skies ev1
  14. Is he the guy that test the "eject" thing? BTW...Im new!!! Got 1 tandem and I start AFF tomorrow. Been reading this forums a lot, found the answer to many questions. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
