I was wondering what would be the best way to get from Dublin to IPC. I'm going to be there Sunday 8 July. I'm going on a tour that ends on that day and I want to finish my vacation jumping. Hey GOFAST, I did the same thing last year on my second tour (currently on my 3rd), I ordered my new custom rig while I was here and it was ready for me when I got back. Now I have it here with me (it's secured) because I'm going to Europe for my R&R. Plus whenever I have a bad day I can just go to it for consolation. Keep your head down! ~Freedom is never free

Jump #32, at SD Dallas we have a some good FS organizers and they are always willing to do SCR jumps. I was on my way back overseas, and given that a couple of guys are vets they were more than willing to come along for the ride. We actually turned 4 points too, round-zipper-4way 360 turn-round. You are right, your SGLI would not cover anything if you don't make it skydiving. Some people choose to have like insurance just for skydiving or other extreme sports, especially if you travel outside the US to jump. ~Freedom is never free

In the 11 years I have in the Army, I have never been told not to jump. But at the same time I have never seen a skydiving trip organized by MWR. Which installation is doing it? ~Freedom is never free

He will no longer be required to attend battle assemblies (drill) with the consent of his CO which is the only person that can declare him AWOL if he fails to show up. Once his ETS date hits he can't legally go in because he is not going to get paid for it as DFAS will put a hold on all his pay until his re-enlistment goes through or DD214 is issued. My girl sent me one of those here to wear, when I go on long convoys or patrols wearing 50lbs of armor and ammo my lower back kills me, but when I have that belt on under it makes a world of difference. I might be hooked on it which in the long runmight hurt. But as the previous post said, proper streching and excercise will make those muscles stronger again. GL ~Freedom is never free

I bought my ticket, so far I don't know anyone from Dallas going, or anywhere else for that matter. This is going to be great especially since PR was my home for the first 16 years of my life, haven't been back for a few years now, what better way to go...
