I agree. Even though this jumper ignored that 'little voice in his head' and jumped, he was under a fully open, fully flying, and fully controllable canopy. Then he chopped. There's a resident at our trauma center who jumps at Titusville. Not only does he actively jump, but he does alot of medical/skydiving research projects. There's no picture attached to the article. A friend decided to do his first jump at Titusville on Friday, so I headed over there to join in the fun. Shame on me for not suggesting Zhills. Puerto Vallarta does not have a DZ. Last year, SDC had a tent set up on the beach near the Holiday Inn. A quick shuttle ride to the airport and then beautiful skydives over the bay. Mexico's central Pacific coast is a pretty big place separated by hours-long drives. Where exactly are you going? SDC goes to Ixtapa, CSC goes to Puerto Escondido, and there are a few others, too. One thing I learned about jumping in Mexico: nothing happens fast. If you get 3 jumps in one day, you're 'jumping your ass off'.
