  1. Exactly. In times of loss, focus on the important things.
  2. Then the next thing that ain't been did yet.
  3. This was my thinking, too: he was uncertain about his horizontal separation so he added vertical separation. I've seen the deadly results of freefall into canopy collisions. Yes, there are limits; but I can understand the thought process.
  4. Speaking of which, Triscuit has a sea salt and dill that's absolutely da bomb.
  5. Every place the White Man lives in North America is government sponsored immigrant relocation.
  6. If it makes you feel any better, Rob, neither of my kids work in law or politics, or even anything close to either.

  8. I swear I thought you meant "that other" Kim.
  9. I take it you're no big fan of Ouzo.
  10. An old guy trying to find another story to maintain his relevance and stay in the public eye??? It's called the Jimmy Carter effect. FWIW, Jimmy is a much better ex-president than he was a president. Ronald Reagan is having his most productive years ever right now.
  11. Well, sure, I presumed so. But if he wants us to trust him, he should be trusting enough to identify himself by name. And maybe a bit of relevant background. Considering what he's asking of the community, I don't think that's too much to ask. If he answers, that will be helpful. If he fails to do so - I know he's reading this - that will be telling, too. Ball's in his court.
  12. And if they try to pull that, I, as well as MHS's lawyers, can think of multiple reasons why such abusive multiplicity of litigation should be both legally and equitably barred. And it would almost certainly be viewed most skeptically by a court. Again: there are good defenses to that tactic, too, under both law and equity, and a court would view the obvious tactic with great skepticism, to say the least. Friends (to all): This really isn't the place to be strategizing legal defenses and approaches. MHS's lawyers know what they're doing. Please, give them the breathing space to do it.
  13. I don't know. I'm not a doctor. A few individual anecdotes, even if from skydivers, but from people who aren't medical professionals, are quite possibly meaningless as applied to you, in the opinion of a doctor who actually examines you, and whose training and experience are the product of many thousands of case histories. Their laypersons' experiences, "for what it's worth", might be worth nothing, or even might possibly be misleading and harmful if applied to you. For your sake: you really need to ask these questions to a doctor.
  14. Hey Thanks! Whats a pulse oximeter? Happy to oblige! http://lmgtfy.com/?q=pulse+oximeter
  15. I'm sure your attitude will be a magnet for those on the fence of decision. Again: you ask us to believe you, but you haven't identified yourself so that we can gauge your credibility for ourselves. Second request now: who are you?
  16. Well, I'll also have my hands around her neck for the hooding.... OK so she'll be wearing a hoodie. Now we have something to discuss.
  17. Yes, you will. Aviation is pretty fugging expensive already. Go price a new C-172. Most basic and ubiquitous aircraft on the planet. If it were a car, it would be a basic VW Bug. $250k. How much do you think a real, workable flying car is going to cost out the door? How much do you think it's going to cost to operate? $1m out the door? $200 per hour of operation? OK, fine, then. For your next task, rebut the existence of Spiderman.
  18. Why do you hate American products, Ron? Do you hate America?
  19. Well then it must have been fantastic!
  20. Well, sure. The dumb ones just lay there.
  21. When I was a kid watching the Jetsons, they promised us flying cars. I want my damn flying car.
