I like filling up peoples cells of their canopies with shredded toilet paper when they get new canopies. When they open they think the canopy exploded. Not really, don't do it to a newbie but it's funny to do to someone that won't freak out and chop it.

I know a time when the internet was used to track someone while they were here and it was used against them and they were sent back to their home country for an expired visa. An article on (a skydive website) was one of the items in court. Just let's you know that their is always someone watching on here.

I lived in Southwest Florida for a couple of years. I remember flying over the gulf in a helicopter and seeing all the sharks in the water close to where people were swimming. They seem to leave people alone most of the time. But you are going to have your accidents. Anyhow, I started skydiving and really only went to the beach a couple of times. I was always at the dz on weekends and my days off. At the Keys Boogie I opened a couple of miles out over the ocean and remember looking for sharks the whole way back. Didn't see anything but the beautiful scenery. The only thing I don't miss about SW Florida is the humidity and the mosquitos.

I called Skydive Hawaii and made sure they are aware of what is going on and to make sure he does not jump this weekend. Also, if anyone there knows him please check up on him immediately. Please know that whatever it is you are going through is temporary and that life is actually a beautiful thing. You need to get help resolving your issues. Life is too precious not too. I hope you take this post as a friend doing a friend a favor.

I must warn you that the hills in San Francisco prior to getting to the Golden Gate can be a bit trivial. I found I had muscles that I forgot I had. It was well worth it though.

When you are in San Francisco rent a mountain bike and ride it over the Golden Gate, into Sausalito and get the Ferry to take you back over to where you started. You get a great close up of Alcatraz on the Ferry. I did this a couple years back and it was breathtaking.
