Hey all - just bought a new house, got my broadband installed, looking forward to connecting to P2P stuff on a nice fast 2Mb connection, however an error message comes up telling me i need to configure something to make it work due to the fact that i am working through a router. Anyonedone this or know how to fix it? It will let me connect via someone else but i tried it and frankly its a load of cabbage. Never try to eat more than you can lift

The other issue that just occurred to me (hey, work is boring) is that if the stows on either side do not release at exactly the same time, you run the risk of the stows for the other half of lines beginning to release out of sequence due to the tension from the set "underneath" pulling upwards. That probably doesn't make any sense but i know what i mean. This would be negated, and the end result the same, by having 4 rows of stows, so you have the left lineset down the left side of the bag and the right set down the right side. The stows would be really short though!!! Interesting exercise! Don't think i will ever end up being a skydiving gear designer though! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Yup. (budget permitting!) Never try to eat more than you can lift

If i am seeing this right, are you not also going to need twice as many stows, as you only have one half of the lines going through each stow? That is creating a lot of extra complication on top of the bag, not to mention the extra time and care needed to do it. I like the idea but i think it would probably increase the chances of tension knots/ other strange mals. I guess they are trying for the same end results with these stowless bags by reducing the force needed to free the lines therefore less dancing and a cleaner deployment. Yep - have done. Tend to think i will always have one now however as some dz's in the UK are making them compulsory, and i never know where i might be jumping on any given weekend. Never try to eat more than you can lift

On this site? You have to ask?! In all seriousness, 2 things clear me completely from everything and i focus on nothing but them while i am doing them. 1 is jumping, and the other is surfing. And out of the 2 i think surfing works better because you don't have the sitting around time (well you do in between waves but its different somehow....) Never try to eat more than you can lift

Its all over now apart from a couple of rounds of some of the artistics - results here http://www.skydiving.co.uk/Nationals2005Results.htm Amazingly well run event by Hibs - thanks to all concerned! Never try to eat more than you can lift

That looks like that french crew who practice "street running" - they did some demos in London and the stuff they were doing was truly amazing. For those of you who know it, one guy jumped from the bridge of the HMS belfast onto the platform on top of the guns - at least i think thats what the jump was. its a LONG way down. Good video though Never try to eat more than you can lift
