  1. Rough guess is your lineset has around 600 jumps on it. The steering lines are probably shrunk twice the A line difference overall. A new lineset, and a pocket on the slider will fix it.
  2. I think you are missing something here. Atair, the company from Slovenia has been selling base canopies with a low bulk Nylon fabric made in France. The US based Atair in New York built one 9 cell skydiving main some years back out of the "300% stronger " material to try it out. Apex is making canopies with the same weight fabric as the French Nylon fabric that the Slovenian Atair is (Think PD Optimum resv.). The US Atair and Slovenian Atair are not related anymore. You can look on "basetroll.com" and "apexbase.com"
  3. Happy birthday, Nick. Will you be having fun at Bridge Day?
  4. Excellent would not be enough to describe the segment. I think Julian said it best, there is no group on earth that had more fun than we did today. Are you listening NPS? Props, JT and crew.

Hmm. 24 beers... lets see, 24 hours in a day... 24 beers in a case.
  6. I'm thinking Volplane. Not a lot of detail of the lower surface, though.

24 beers in a case, 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? I think not!
  9. Mike's sister Kelly called me today. Mike was found in his tent in a homeless camp. She said a needle was found next to his arm. He had a drug problem for some years.
  10. Looks cool, I have always used the bent wire fid. I have 4 different sizes for most all line.

Fast Eddie Gibsons' little girl, Allie Gibson will be a liver donor to her cousin tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. This is serious stuff and your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. She will be at UCSF I believe for about a week. Eddie and Jan are there, for how long I don't know. That's it, good night.
  13. I don't see a reserve either.....nice!
  14. Zippers my friend, zippers...
  15. Anything is possible. Show your work off here when you are done, hotshot!
  16. I'm pretty sure it is a Barrish design.
  17. I needed to see that! $2500.00 in repair to my pickup on wed., a new wall heater for the house today that cost $550.00. When I ordered it I said "Propane" twice and made them say it back to me. When I went to pick it up in my expensive pickup, it was natural gas!!!! . I really wanted to bitch slap that a-hole. Thanks!
  18. First, did you call the rigger that packed this? I can agree that too big a loop above the insertion is not so good because of what you mentioned and you need all the holding power available. I had a conversation with Bill Booth at PIA regarding adjustable reserve loops on sigma tandems with the staging loops, and he was quite eager to talk. We decided that care needed to be taken with length.(Test the length, unpack and make adjustment to the closing loop as required to get the 1" offset.) He did not bat an eye when I brought it up. I myself do not use them anymore because my pack jobs go so many places, I was tired of the "You caaaant' dooo that" phone calls. If you do not like the way something is rigged and it did _NOT_ affect safety, correct the condition and move on! Sure this looked a bit sloppy, again call the last guy or gal who's hands were on it.
  19. Do you need a lower lineset or a complete steering lineset?
  20. I think that's what he is asking you to do..........Ya can't miss me in Radix.
  21. Be careful of the joule and other canopies of that line, it may knock the snot right out of you! I have owned a Quark and only would use it for clear and pulls.
  22. If You need linesets, I can take care of most things in his absence.
  23. So what you are saying is that the door to your house is meant to be walked through only when it is completely open. Walking through that door when it is in any other position will cause great bodily harm? You can walk through a door part way open, you must know how to negotiate the hazard of the door, frame and threshold. Door frame strikes damage more drunk people the court system can handle. I have done many clear and pull jumps from climbing low tail aircraft with no problems.
