Has "tipping" gone to far or am I just cheap?

All the student gear I used at my DZ hurt like a bitch. I was glad to jump my own stuff. One thing that helped for me though was to cross my ankles over each other during the flight, which relieved some pressure on the inside of my thighs.

Out on the Sunday I see... You just wanted to avoid me, that's the truth, isn't it!

I think the babe in the picture is the Crown Princess, not the Queen. And she's Australian, not Danish. That's why she's hot

Very nice! Though most of the dialogue was overpowered by the volume of the music.... Was that intentional?

A BASE jumper was rescued unhurt after a botched clifftop leap at Christmas Creek, in Queensland's southeast. Matthew Norton, 21, of the Gold Coast, dangled for seven hours more than 100m above the ground after his parachute became entangled on a ledge at 6.50am yesterday. A local resident reported that Mr Norton had jumped from the top of a mountain in the Lamington National Park. He was spotted descending to a ledge about 50m from the top of the mountain but was unable to move up or down from that position, police said. A rescue helicopter was sent, but was unable to reach Mr Norton because of high winds. An SES vertical rescue team then made its way down the cliff. Mr Norton was harnessed and lifted to safety at about 2pm. BASE jumping -- the acronym for building, antenna, span, earth -- is jumping from fixed objects with a parachute. ----- Source: http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5744,17833723%255E2702,00.html

I couldn't find any other skydivers group, so hell, I made one. http://www.last.fm/group/Skydivers I'd be interested to see the music trends for skydivers all round the world. Laters.

...another joins the scores of ultra-cool, amazingly talented, generous, kind and (insert other bad adjective) sports jumpers. Yeah I got my "A" on Wed, and got signed off for using the TAS this morning! -

Which means your numbers should be 0:1:1. Remember, every time you use the F word ("first") you owe beer. And good job on surviving an out landing. The desire to "get back" has gotten a lot of skydivers in trouble; being able to assess your landing situation, recognize when getting back is not a safe option, pick an alternate landing area, and land safely is an important skill to build. Of course, you may be able to learn from what might have prevented you getting into that situation in the first place, but give yourself credit for handling it safely as well. Good point... There was more than one expletive being uttered I can assure you I opened higher than I was planning due to my lack of trust in the altimeter I had recently acquired (better safe than sorry though I figure). Add to that we had really strong uppers, and I took a few seconds too long to check my airspace and turn into wind. Once i did turn into wind I realised i wasn't going to get back, identified my possible outs, cleared the freeway using my front risers, avoided the barbed wire fences and gully and touched down beautifully. I learnt alot (again), and though I was pissed off at myself for a combination of things, I was safe and I knew things I could change to avoid what happened.

0:1:0 First out-landing too *sigh* So much for those accuracy jumps i'm working on...
