I looked at a few places before going with HSBC but I found HSBC to have the best overall rate through out the year. INC.com, citibank, and others offer great interest rates on online savings account. I only have experience with HSBC and I can tell you that they also have great customer service too. Shop around and see what you like the best. Anyway you go it's better then a regular savings account (my interest rate with wamu with .75%). There are no minimum balances and you can start it with as little money as you want ($1+). I have it linked to my Washington Mutual checking account (wamu is closer to me then any HSBC bank) so that I can deposit money in there and transfer it directly to my HSBC account. They also give you an ATM card that you can use at any ATM to pull money from your account. With such a high interest rate (it keeps going up through out the year) it competes with a CD but without having to make a 5 year commitment with your money. Unlike a CD you can access your money anytime you want. I have gotten a bunch of friends to switch over and personally I have made over $1000 in interest in the short time I have had it. Since that money in your bank account isn't really yours since you owe money pay off your debit and put the rest of your money into a high yield savings account. The first canopy I owned was a 190 spectre loaded @ 1.1. Just before I jumped it a few people told me not to cut away from it! I wash my truck every week, not because I want it to look pretty but because I consider it maintenance. Right now my truck is the most expensive item I own. I took my liquid lens off my camera (pc109) for the first time since I installed it. It has been off for the past week. So I installed it again today, set the camera to manual focus and the picture looks all blurry. I am trying to remember if it use to be blurry (dont think it was) and what I could be doing wrong. Should I be setting the manual focus in more light (I am in my room with just an over head light turned on)? I normally set the camera so that it has a little hand with a F in the middle, sports setting, and the white balance set to outdoor. I have yet to go out of state for anything related to skydiving yet but planned on doing so this year. It looks like this boogie might be fun. Can anyone tell me if there are any showers on the airport. I would most likely make a 20 hour drive since it would be cheaper then flying and would sleep in my car to save some money but only if I had access to a shower, if not I would just get a hotel room. Will all the planes been running through out the boogie? 1. Bunch of flash backs.(flash backs to when they were just starting out at the hospital and meeting everyone) 2. Izzie sat on the floor crying all episode.(literally, she sat on the floor in her dress crying, she finally got up at the end of the episode after all the ladies layed down next to her and talked to her one by one.) 3. Grey is still a whore.(She is still a whore but people still seem to like her as long as she fucks with both guys equally, at the end of the episode you still have no idea who she is going to chose, but you do know her vagina is the size of a train tunnel.) 4. George and Derek almost got the black plague.(Bunch of patients came in with flu like symptons, George and Derek operated on one of the people, then they found out she has the plague so they quantine them for 2/3rds of the episode. They sat in the locker room and ate other peoples food while talking about how they might die and it could be too late for them to say I love you blah blah blah.) 5. George still can't say I love you. (Title speaks for itself) 6. The old black dude is about to break up with his wife who wants him to retire.(Wife makes an appointment to see him only because she finds that there is no other way to talk to him, as he sits down there is an emergency and he blows her off, episode ends with her saying its either me+retirement or yourself, seems like he wont retire). Stony Brook University (in conjunction with SDLI and the military) is doing an on going study about how different people handle there first tandems. First time tandem students can choose to participate in the study by having there body monitor during the jump (they also have to give a blood sample before and after the jump). From what I head this study stems from the military wanting to be able to screen potential recruits for programs like the seals (apparently they have a high drop out rate which cost them a lot of money). It is an interesting study. Oh and the tandem students get there jump for free if they participate.
