I agree with Linny on this one. Hallmark and other corporations have made Valentine's Day into something that is trite and stale. There is no romance in a prepackaged sentiment that umpteen other people are giving to each other. The best V-day gift I ever got was a hand written card and some daisies held together with duct tape. We were so broke that we couldn't afford to do the traditional night out. What he wrote in the card was gift enough for me. And I gave him his gift that night..... True love should not need one day designated out of the year to be celebrated and shared, I usually look at V-day as just another day. I agree wholeheartedly, something real and from the heart is much more appreciated than anything else...
