i started out with out "boosters". after a few jumps i borrowed a suit that had them fitted. Wouldnt jump camera with out em now. Heaps better for rw exits. But it a personal choice, try out a few 1st and decide then.

Hop 330 or a jyro 330, jyro has a better (softer) flare, but the Hop OPENS GREAT!. Now if it had a little less toggle pressure it would be perfect. If you could combine the two into one you would have the ideal canopy. Deal with it

i do nothing, just keep their arms out in front where you can see them.I dont pull their head back nor give them any warning of opening coming up. Done 3000 tandems and have not had an incident on opening yet, but after posting this iam sure iam going to now!

Well it seems my ever trusty Woomera has started something on here! It works great, it is a very compfy rig to wear whilst doing crw. Iam not sure but if it is TSO'd in the USA or any whereout side Australia. BUT i think that as long as it is TSO' in the country that you are a member of you can pretty much jump it any where. (IMAY BE WRONG THOUGH) As long as a foreign gear waver is in place. Ive used mine at many places over the world since 96 and had no problems at any location.Its nearly worth using it just for novalty value! In australia you must have a E licence(500 jumps) to use this rig or the dzso approval to use it with less jumps. I first used mine with 150 jumps and it is not a big deal. Sure to get a comment or two now!! Deal with it

A very lucky young lady, but have a couple of questions. How expirienced in crw was she?. How properly was she briefed on what to do in a wrap or entenglement. WHY did she cut a way a perfect canopy. I hope that this incident does not put her off crw altogether but a little forward planning on emergency procedures may be needed. Deal with it

i usually open around 2000 feet depends on what suit i have on and where iam at in regards to spot Deal with it

i can see no benifit in wearing a hard hat when doing tandems, if any thing they are more dangerous to the passenger than any thing Deal with it
