  1. From memory, Australian Parachute Federation rules state that to carry a camera on a parachute decent you must hold at least a cert C (100 jumps) Yes this includes tandem passengers .. Deal with it
  2. The girls from the TV show Outback Jack ! Deal with it
  3. why wear a helmet on tandems period??? Deal with it
  4. i own a rig that itis impossible to fit any cypress or vigil to, does that mean i cant jump at a dz that requires these even if i cant fit one??? Guess i wont be going to jump in Alaska any time soon!. Deal with it
  5. slide it down the hill for outside camera,, poised and look back up at the plane (caravan) for hand cam. great shots for either.. Deal with it
  6. What sort of situation would you cutaway a handcam??. Deal with it
  7. 1500 is heaps high enough for a clean cutaway and deployment in that situation. Again it is personal preferance and up to the person envolved.
  8. Any one have a contact phone number for Pat Lindner? I need to contact him. Thanks in advance. Deal with it
  9. If a tandem instructor can make it back to the DZ, and chooses to land off to land with his video, he (or she) needs to reevlauate being a tandem instructor. Pull ya head in! Deal with it
  10. If conditions are good and the area is a safe one then why not land off with your videao guy/gal to get the landing for them, i dont really see it as a problem if its safe to do so. on the other hand if it is a biggish operation and you dont want to land off whats to stop another camera guy/gal to get te landing and pass it on??
  11. you guys an girls have all the fun over there !! have fun!
  12. Docking in the last wave on the bigways last yr we exited (on 1 jump in particular)to early and were pretty high on the formation, and not to far in front of it. 2:1'S saved my butt on that one just in the fact i could use them to loose a lot more height than i would have been able to just one risers. Also if you are docking in the last wave they are a great thing to have just to save your strength for the important part (docking). Iam not very big in the arms department so i use mine regularly on bigways. Hope this helps
  13. i personally think it is very dangerous to have any thing attached to your wrists particuly an alti when doing crw. Ive been unfortunate enough to have someone dock on me very hard and then have them hanging off my wrist mount. Never wore an alti for crw again. I only started to wear a chest mounted alti after a couple of narly wraps. Some people have them sewn on there jumpsuits which isnt a bad idea either.
  14. Is this anywhere i would know of?? Deal with it
