  1. We use the 300HP Version of the C182 that reacts very much to cutting the engine - it gets very hot and shock cools easy. The pilot just reduces the Prop RPM an decreases the throttle just a very little bit. The bigger prop of the 300HP Version does not make it easier. 2. Depends very much on the air temperatur up there. If it is low the pilot can not cut down the engine very much on jumprun due to shock cooling. Then I prefere standing in the door and diving about 45° off the direction of the flight direction. If the prop does not spin so hard it is easy to climb on the step to do multiway exits. 3. Have it fixed before you next jump. Not only linetwists get more likely, but also the chances for a massive hesitation or even a PC in tow malfunction increase! Please don't jump undermaintenanced stuff. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  4. WOW, what a nice fluffy and perfectly shaped. Nicely flown as well - sorry dudes, fuck the diveplan! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  5. PIE! Congratulations! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  6. It was a great boogie - can't wait for the first videos popping up. Thank you for the organisation and for the great weather you booked! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  7. Still trying to get information how to come from BUD airport to the dropzone. Csaber, please check your emails and PM! CU soon dudes! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  8. Start with a smaller suit - learn on it and go bigger later (do 100 jumps or so on the intermediate suit). The Ghost is a very nice suit but you will fly it better after a few hundred jumps on a Phantom. Do some acrobatic flying in the Phantom - it ROCKS! 9. The photo looks like "naked wingsuit dive"... ;) For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  10. Heya! The wingsuitcompetition is running and there is no report, no video? Dudes, think about those who could not come to Gap - keep us updated! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  11. Not done yet but it does not seem to be easy. If you get out (need door modification) there will be a massive prop blast if the pilot still has some throttle open. The stabilizer is very close and since you are standing on the wing it is relatively low as well. Did you ever jump that plane without a wingsuit? I would try that first. 12. I'll be there! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  13. BTW: If the weight in your profile is correct: For you the recommended range of 1.8 to 2.8 would be 104sqft to 64sqft... For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  14. The description is a bit strange in my eyes. They state that this would be the canopy for work and fun jumps including WS flying but at the end of the description they say "Recommended wing loading 1.8 to 2.8". A wingloading around 2.0 in a wingsuit is nothing I would recommend. Some people might fly such a wing in a WS but I don't know anyone who jumps an elliptical canopy or one loaded at >2.0 and had over 300 WS jumps with it without cutting away. (not stating that there is no one) I don't know the JFX but have my doubts that it would be a good idea to fly an elliptical wing loaded around 2 in a WS. 15. I'll be there! Jarno, if you want to stop over a day before, you are welcome. From here it is an other 2 hours drive to Gransee. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  16. I think that summs up most of the rider's requirements, doesn't it? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  17. Very nice! And a 7 way from 2 C182 is just super cool! Congrats! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

  19. +1 and the suits get faster and bigger all the time. In my eyes 200 is veeeeery low already. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  20. Hey, that was a sneaky one...
  21. Great! What a nice design together with the rig. For sure the best design I've ever seen. Very nice! And the guy in the phantom flies impressively! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  22. Fly as you like. My longest flight was 138 seconds, my shortest from the same altitude 48 seconds - same suit. So double the time is easily doable even for a heavy guy with low upper body strength like me. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  23. They have a bunk house? You have a tent? drive there on friday evening and leave sunday late - lots of jumps and bonfires then... For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  24. And it needs a campos added Didn't that change to a pony? Really like the colors! Hope you post some pics of it flying! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  25. Ouch! Bad luck! Likely that a riser opened the box? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
