  1. Terrible news! He was such a positive guy and worked hard to bring wingsuiting forward. Wanted to get in contact again for years to restart flying with some coaching and meet an old friend again. It will never happen. This day brings back a lots of good memories from two decades - but it brings a lot of pain as well. Fly free, Jarno!
  2. Just as I said: ;) For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  3. oops, I did not expect to ever read this: (source: http://www.wonsanairfestival.com/whats-on/) This sounds like the most exotic country to skydive! US Skydivers might have a harder time than anyone else. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  4. Impressive flying for a first flight! Next time don't forget to close the legwing at pulltime. Welcome to the flock! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  5. Thank you to the pilot for posting this video! One thing that I wanted to mention is the legwing. Keep the legwing closed until you are under a good canopy. This should be trained in our EP drills we do. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  6. Little girls... For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  7. @Waldschrat: http://www.phoenix-fly.com/products/order_faq there is a new Cameroon Ultra Light fabric mentinoned. Is this what you are looking for? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  8. A nice tool to view your graphs on a tablet or smartphone and not carrying the computer with the paralog installation with you. A great addition to Paralog! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  9. Why are there no information about the people behind the project and a way to contact them on the website? You do not want to be contacted? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  10. We've been running camps like these for several years already. After this one, the next one is sceduled for Ukraine. With MI8 chopper as the jumpship. Ukraine? I thought it would be Hungary... For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  11. Very impressive flying, filming and editing! Thank you for posting! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  12. Then you'd even have money for more than 2 suits. And a lot of time to fly them. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  13. I use a Vector3 without any modifications and flew the following suits: Phantom1 Ghost 1 Ghost 2 Ghost 3 Stealth 1 Stealth 2 Typically i do not pull from full flight but close all wings and arch hard for 2 seconds before pulling. When pulling in full flight I did have a slight PC hesitation occasionally. So I would either switch to a longer bridle or slightly bigger PC when pulling in full flight regularly. If you arch hard before pulling I do not see the need for any modifications. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  14. You can also download Paralog for free to view the flysight files. You just can't save a jump log without paying. But Paralog has a nice view for the data. Yes, but in the newer version the resolution of the graph is artificially lowered. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  15. especially this comment: For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

  17. do less solo jumps and fly with others - flying relative to a reference is very helpfull. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  18. a) I would offer him coaching and lend him a suit in appropriate size. b) If he prefers to play 'lonesome cowboy' I'd warn him about the dangers. c) If he ignores the warnings, I'd warn the DZO and the other wingsuiters at the dropzone that the guy is not safe. - The sky will get boring if no one wants to fly with him... I also like that "outfly him in a Prodigy" idea very much! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  19. Ah! That explains a lot - looked so surreal when they opened the door to the outside and it stayed that way. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  20. Great plane that can hover so well that you can open a door to the ouside and it stays half open. ;) For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

  22. Sadly can't be there - the Hungarian event is just the week after this one and my boss insist in meeting me at the office from time to time. Even in summer! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  23. I did not vote since I am not able to say "yes" or "no" - it depends on how the system works and how it is used. I do think there might be a market for that. Would be curious to know how it should work. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
  24. As far as I got it from his facebook status, weather does not permit flying at the moment. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
