  1. I´m very happy to read this Tony....in the beginning we have had a big fight if it makes sence or not....but now it turns out positiv from the most....and its very interesting to see that one degree more or less are changing everything.....we have her 3 totally different disziplines....and that is in the end the fun....and for the heavier ones its more fun! :) Ok, I will think about the 1000m dive.....
  2. This we have already as fourth diszipline this year and most of the pilots showed theire best at the bar.... have seen beautifull hangovers on sunday! ... included mine! :)
  3. HM, twoway-event? sounds a bit like the base-race idea....but you mean 2 like a team have to fly fast, but close...filmed air to air? That would mean to grow a team challenge as 4th dizipline.....if I understand you correctly? I think if you have gps tracks the air to air video is not needed cause you can look at google earth track if they fly all the time together....but as team challenge it means three people have to fly together include videoflyer.... Ideas are almost welcome....but our now happening rules are FAI confirm, almsot logical and accepted by the international flying-comp-rules. But why not ask arround to find another new and fun-bringing diszipline...if the people like it, we can think about..
  4. Haha Tony good to see that you have had fun! Lowering the exitaltitude was a plan from last years event, cause no one wants to dive for 1000m. Anyways after testing we see that downwardsspeed, wich you take on diving, you take into the whole run. In the disziplines time and distance downspeed is destroying good results! Only speed is happy with that.....but hey, I like diving 1000m even more than opnly 500m, so we can put it up if anyone likes to have it. But the idea was to fly accurate close from the beginning.... I just need an answer from every compaditor to get an overview. So for all who have not seen the winers list: Place 1: Tobi Scherrinsky Suit: X-Bird c/N: Germany Place 2: Tony Uragallo Suit: X-Bird c/N: USA Place 3: Stephan Weishaupt Suit: V1 c/N: Germany Place 4: Alex Strobel Suit: V3 c/N: Austria Place 5: Harry Kloska Suit: V3 c/N: Germany Yeah congrats to the winners.....specially to the new ones under them.....really awesome results buddys! I hope to see everyone again and I´m for a worldcup next year. The international interests on that event are big enough now. thanx to all for joining, thanx for your interest, Mirko
  5. yeah, thanx Dennis, good to see if anybody is happy in the end....anyways we have perfect conditions, made around 15 jumps. The bigway from the 2 planes making me smiling again....perfect work from the pilots... Hope to see all again and that we can work out a real worldcup next year...I think the rules are ready for that. Mirko
  6. around 20 people from USA to Swiss/France, Poland, Austria, Germany, Croatia and so on.....maybe Netherlands. And some jumpers on top, wich are still looking foward to manage it to join.

  8. You should order more pop corn....cause you will watch the vid 10 times in a row just to be sure that you can trust youre eyes! For me, this is by far the bets shit I´ve seen on this planet! This DVD is every penny worth to buy and I´m sure for the next years it will be very hard to beat this movie. Even Robi can not beat himself.....but who knows what he is doing next to impress us all. I love that vid in all kinds. Music, editing and proxy are working well together.... And now, I will turn on the TV and watch it again..... cheers, BBC.mirko
  9. QuoteInteresting that harry in this "old" V1 was so much better then the new V3. (I know the flyer makes the suit go, but this V3 flyer is the manufacturer)Quote Ok buddy, before you shoot against someone you should be there or know better all details! Infront of the competition people ask if Robi will join the competition, cause than they have no chance to win and they will not come! So he decide to join the competition just for fun and in that case he not uses the suit what would be perfect for this competition! He put his extra large Stealth away(the one, what Lutz flies in Marl to the win) and he takes one of his prototypes out of his box, wich is by far not made for this. One suit he not really skydived before! Only to join the party and get answers wich he has not asked before from this suit! And he has almost only some skydives this year! He never jumped with this GPS-stuff before, and he has never trained to use the 1000m after exit for diving. So he dived to much for the first two jumps and screwed the direction on the next and flies not backwinds, like the others. But anyways he learned without training, inside the competition and get one of the best distances and the absolute max topspeed. So he gets what he want, answers about his suit and fun with the people.... So for not really competing in the competition, with the choice to use a different suit than planed, just for fun and researching, joining totally untrained, I think its not fair to gave him shit for being friendly and just have good company with us! If he wants to beat someone, he would start the things totally different...there where no need for him to show his skills or to win!
  10. PS: But next year, we should not have the safety briefing in the morning in front of the hangar.Quote true!

And I must gave some special thanx to Costyn and Klaus, wich finished programming of the webtool www.wingsuitcompetition.com/ppc , close in front of the event and spent in that way theire help that every things works that well! We tried our best to keep the competitionrules FAI-confirm to establish this kind of competition in an international way. Over the complete event we have not only one rejump in cause of non working technic or GPS-blackouts! I hope that everyone had a great event and will join next years competition again. If there are any ideas to do something better, youre welcome to mail me! I have attached some shots from the event. thanx for joining us... blues, Mirko... [email]bbc.mirko@gmail.com
