How do you KNOW if you are facing into WIND? . There is ONLY one type of wind that a canopy knows about .. but hey, that's all relative (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome

I guess they are ALL volunteers as no one is drafted into the job. (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome -
I've never seen one do it. We need a CRW dog.... The only straight down stalls I've seen on a small canopy result in a ball of washing above you. We used to do it to get down quicker... Cheers mate.. maybe I'll go play (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome

No sure if this at all relevant on a skydive canopy BUT a Paraglider 'can' be 'parachutal' (essentially a stall) ... a flight 'mode' that has low (or zero) forward speed but is clearly flying (fully open) but falling. You would experience this as feeling no relative wind on your face. Is this flight mode even possible on a smaller canopy? (.)Y(.) And if one is critical towards Jews; are they being critical of a nation or a religion? Interesting .. maybe both, if you consider them as 2 groups with the same name... (Do some people consider them selves Jewish by 'tribe' and yet atheist? ... I don't know) (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome

I do not understand what you are saying. Sorry Ron, it sounded clear in my head. What I means is that both pioneers and settlers 'often tend' to trump the rights of the folks that were already living there. (Since the very first migration, it has happened in many/all places in the world). So maybe your poll should have another option. (.)Y(.) Of course pigeon holing people is an easy (LAZY) interweb tactic. "He's a ....Conservative/Liberal blaaa blaaaa" ..... Not many people fit into these nice 'comfortable' boxes ... I know I don't .. but it wont stop lazy people from using them. (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome

As a paraglider pilot, I would say YES get lessons... seek out a Paragliding or Speed flying club .. OR Write a Will P.S hospitals (and worse!!) are populated with folks who naively think "How hard can it be" (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome -
