It was March of 2003, on my business trip in Vegas...a friend called and asked if I wanted to try something different...something daring, I said "sure" w/o putting alot of thoughts into it. Next day, the three of us showed up at Jean's and did our tandem. Two weeks later, I had the urge to jump again....went through AFF, got my license three weeks ago. It's addicting more than ever now for me. Who knew....my mother hated though! I found that not very many Vietnamese are in the sport. So far my friend and I are the only 2 in my area that is. It is ridiculously insane for me to be addicted to skydiving. A year ago, I would never thought I'd be addicted to anything...to this magnitude. All I think about is sitting on that plane...doing gear check and wait for the light to turn green. When I'm at home on the week-days, I check for weather...look up in the sky when I hear an airplane. It's insane!!!!!! I was borned in Vietnam, came to the States when I was 10...became a citizen and been here ever since. I totally agree with Skyyhi. When starting a relationship with someone, you should let each other know what's important in your life...if the person supports you...great then you'll know that person truely loves you for who you are not what you do.
