I just got back from my first WWFC.. I must say it was not exactly what I expected but I did have a great time. I got to meet a bunch of cool people from around the world and jump out of some great aircraft. I agree with a lot of the bitching going down on this thread about the planes (pac 750 and sirkosky never showed), expensive registration, and really GHETTO goodie bag... that thing was totally pathetic. The reason it was not what I expected was teh tranquility. I expected to see a bunch of naked people everywhere and a lot more drinking going down. The partying was very mellow albeit I enjoyed it very much. I did get to make almost every jump I had planned, The pitts, hot air ballon, Hi-Alti, heli-jump, and I LOVE MM Kiong Air... that is the plane for me... The best part though were the 10+ wingsuit jumps I made. I am going to try and make it next year.... It was a pleasure meeting a bunch of people who post on here... I am fat.. my skydiving buddy is skinny.. I have tried all of these styles including the split. I find That the split with my arms out is what slows you down the most. But,,,, and theres always a but.. it is super unstable ( for me).. It does look cool in the videos. After the splits I agree with what the consensus of this thread... wide legs with the ankles even further out to help create drag along your calf and inner knee.. as well as having your arms out at 90 degrees. thats the idea.. its consitency is a little thicker than baby food but similar. I personally enjoy it, but have known people who think it sucks. It is made with olive oil.. maybe if you replace that with some lard and corn oil it will be more to your liking. For healthy food I like to eat wholewheat turkey sandwhiches with a lot of greens. salad with olive oil dressing.. some Cashews... lots of fruit... but local puertorican food is very very good (taste) but usually super unhealthy....
