  1. As a US combat veteran of multiple deployments, I would like to add one piece. I think it is safe to say that the heros of one cause would be the "infidels" of the opposing cause. In a perfect world I think we could all recognize bravery and self less service on both sides of the battle while still supporting our own personal views. Regardless of the political, moral, or religious reasons we enter into combat the sacrifices of the warriors who fight those battles should never be cast aside. For all who have not been "there" and ever for those who have take a second to curb your anger and hate to remember that those men and women on both sides are only fighting for their way of life. It is not for us to judge who is right and who is wrong because in the end it does not matter. Who will be remembered as being right will be the one that wins. It has been a few years now since the last life I took in Afghanistan but I still pray that those men found peace and that their families found solace. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  2. If you read the title code 10 that referes to the flag you will see it does not say the flag can not touch the ground. Rather it reads you should not do anything to intentionally soil the flag. But there should always be individuals on the ground to catch if possible. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  3. Kinda reminds me of Alexander the Great here. The elite fighting force of a nation and wow there are homosexuals.....Been hapening since the begining of time but now you just hear about it more. No worries I was in the XVIII corp, I knew a very homosexual guys in the Infantry unit. 3 to be exact. 1 I would not want anywhere near me due to his incompetence but the other 2 could "get my back any day"
  4. Take any person in the world ask them thier personal belief on any situation. Now the answer they give is the one they feel is right and they will defend their views to the best of thier ability. Some people just have more "ability" to defend what they think is right. It just depends on what side of their views you happen to be on. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  5. Take a breath brother, you have valid points but they are going to fall on deaf ears. Those with the mindset to serve will and the rest, Well I just hope they understand one day. Thank a veteran every chance you get because it's by thier sacrifice do you have the rights to do what you do. (This applies to every nation) P.S. Islam does not teach hate, then again neither does Christianity but....... Another topic for another post. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"

    92R MOS

I have not been but have a few buddies that went to 92R...Ok here's the deal, You on a good day will spend most of your time sitting around doing nothing....The chances of you packing any Square chutes is remote. When it comes to actual chutes you will be doing rounds only. Depending on the unit (personal chutes or equipment). Also, you will spend a good deal of time on a sewing machine reparing webbing or other related airdrop equipment. If you are a currently rated FAA rigger you prolly already know more than the Army 92R course will teach you as you have to take aditional training to go from Army rigger to FAA rigger. Units to look for are Spec Ops Guard or reserve units. You recruiter will know. Just visit the unit and speak w/ thier current 92R to make sure it's what you want. Hope this is more on the mark to what you are looking for. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  7. This is just silly.....what are we coming to? I think the child should take the case to court and plead insanity just to show how crazy this is. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  8. or it could have been the competition. This ROTC squad may have been really good HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  9. Well if this happened in Afghanistan too then that will explain a few things for me..... HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  10. Ok I just had to throw my opinion in this one. I agree w/ the original poster that there sounds like some BS to the 12 year lifespan. But his way of presenting that information and opinion leaves a bit to be desired. Insulting others and proudly stating that you continuously break FAR's worries me. I applaud your current safety record but when something does happen and it is found that you knowingly violate the rules..... Either way my grandpa still has his original telephone purchased back in the day and it works like a charm. I personally have a Cypress that is coming up on it's 12 yr. I will jump it till I need to have it legally removed. My personal feelings that it is safe to jump should not be imposed on a rigger (who could lose his ticket) or a Pilot that could lose his lisence HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  11. Well here's my thoughts on it. Hamas as a whole obvioulsy cares about their country and way of life strongly enough to fight and die for it. With their new found political power I hope that they use it positivly to further their society without detriment to those around them. What does scare me a bit is that they don't get along with their neighbor (who happens to be buddies w/ the US) If they decide to engage in open warfare it is inevitable that the US will intervene in some form. I may not agree w/ everything the administration does but I think it was said best in a previous post. "I will leave it to more intelligent and better informed people than me to make those choices." Let's just all say a prayer that these two societies can find a way to co-exist or at least find a way to leave others out of their scwabble. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  12. I found this efervesant medication over the counter at Walmart called "Airborne" that worked well for me. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  13. Kindly remind us how Bush and Cheney spent the Vietnam War years while other people's kids were dying in the jungles of southeast Asia. Then tell us again how ridiculous Amazon's assertion is. "I had other priorities in the 60's than military service." - R. Cheney Call me uneducated but I really don't know or care how they spent the war years of thier time. Not everyone served in wartime. Not everyone who did serve in war actully went to war. Not everyone who went to war actually fought. My question is how is that relevant to them running the country. Let them spend their time educating themselves so they can make the best desicion for the coutry as a whole and let the warriors do the fighting. Everyone has a skill set let them use thiers. I'd rather have Bush in office than behind a gun. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
  14. Seems like I found a good source for information. My main concern is that my G/F who grew up w/ a bullie is being blinded by that childhood infatuation and not thinking it through clearly. I think the expense and vetrinarian upkeep may just be too much for us and our busy lifestyles. I grew up w/ a Husky which is prolly why I like the Shiba Inu's. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"
