i started mixing happy hard as u started off in the sydney rave scene then started buying cheesy house and rave anthem.. then moved into progressive trance through to techno and finally have been mising breaks since about 2000.

see its all about the partying.. god said so.

i sold my 1200's for my first rig =) i still got all my vinyl tho.. when i have more mulla ill buy some decks again.

No one refers to it as "Dance music", its usually called "techno" since none of it is really mainstream in the US. All my friends ask me to burn them CDs of "techno".. I dont have techno, but thats what they know it as. To them electronic dance music = techno. I for one, know the difference, but was just explaining it in terms that others might understand. I should have clearified earlier. It may have a bit of cheese in it, but there are far more cheesy tracks I could have put in here... WAY MORE cheesy. Ha why do you own those cheesy records??.. you should probably burn them ;) nah i know what you mean.. its just fkn annoying when people refer to all electronic/dance music "techno"... its like saying all band orientated music is "punk" music. anyways.. I dj over here in sydney. people here prob have alittle bit more of an idea then americans since we have a fairly commerical party scene. not really into trance either.. i mix breaks out at raves and club events and also collect funk and hiphop. how long have u all been mixing for?

umm.. trance isnt a variation of techno.. dance music or electronic music is the collective term for what you're talking about. techno is its own genre. carl cox, derrick may, rictchie hawtin, christian varela all produce and play techno. your mix is more on the lines of uplifting trance.. which in my eyes is quite cheesy. but each to their own =)

hero has amazing fight scenes .. and some of the cinematography is sublime.. crouching tiger is a better movie overall as the storyline is much stronger.. havent seen that dager one yet.. should do so soon.

ah i saw this film quite a while ago in the cinema. really really enjoyed it. it was refreshing watching jim carey act in a decent role. good solid script. hasnt come out here on dvd yet in sydney. wouldnt mind seeing it again as ive forgotten what happens.
