eh. thats really all i wanna say about it, because i'm trying my best not to add to the drama and speculation.

when you got tired of all the drama and people talking shit about everybody else, and people getting hurt? a good friend of mine had a canopy collision on landing today, i didnt see it but when i ran out and saw him laying there, i thought he was dead. thats my one nightmare about this sport, seeing one of my close friends die. along with all the other stuff that's been going on lately, just makes it seem like taking an extended break wouldnt be such a bad idea. i'm also still pretty hard up on cash, and having a extra couple grand in the bank would be really nice right now. i'm only 20, and i'll be finished with this school by next summer, (a&p school) and lately i'm beginning to find that its getting easier and easier to find something else to do on my weekends, even when its gorgeous outside. Skydiving is definitely the greatest thing that i've ever done, i cant explain the joy and happiness i have when i'm in the air, but all this shit happening on the ground just isnt cool. *sighs* i guess i'll just keep thinking, but for now, feel free to extend your feedback and whatever else you have to offer.

hmm well i've had my share of hard landings jumping in high winds, i've never thought oooh PLF!!, in fact sometimes i've ended up planing out RIGHT above the ground where if i would have stuck my feet down to do a plf, i prolly woulda fractured a leg due to my forward speed so i lifted my legs up and made like i was sliding into home plate.. but then again i've played baseball for maaaaaany years so *shrugs*

....... maybe i should be scared that you actually remembered what my sig from like 6 months ago said. freakazoid anyway, yeah its a freaky movie, some people think i kinda look like donnie darko, and my first name is donnie so.. *shrugs* i've never watched the entire thing from beginning to end, but i've seen bits and pieces. one of these days i'll sit down and watch it all.

i've tried a mr. bill, all i can say, is PAY ATTENTION to the packjob!! hahahaha. we had a hard opening and i got ripped right off. i dont really see how anybody could have held on through that, it was just a slammer. heh. i'm definitely gonna go try it again, but we're gonna pack the parachute ourselves so that its pretty much guaranteed to o..p..e...n.... SLOW! hehehe. have fun!

ahhhh, actually one time, i did exactly that. i didnt know what had happened, but i guess i must have let the toggles up unevenlly because i was going backwards, doing just fine, then all of a sudden i was doing this wild back spin, then the canopy completely collapsed, took about 500 feet for it to reinflate, then when it did reinflate it spun me around about 3 or 4 more times, (into line twists) which i then kicked out of. it was pretty interesting, haha.

and i'm talking to the collapsing point, where it turns into a nice big ball of shit. reason i ask is last weekend when me and doc steve were fooling around stalling our canopies, when i got down on the ground a guy came to me and asked me if i stalled the canopy often, and i said yes, i've done it maybe 10-15 times (usually try to do it above 3 grand, but that day i was at 1 grand) anyway, the point is that this guy has over 2,000 something skydives, and has NEVER completely stalled his canopy. i think its nice to know exactly where your canopy loses all lift, and what it does in a complete stall. i was just wondering how many people purposely stall canopies on here.

ooooooooooooooh YEAH! what, doesnt everybody say that? i find porn to be naked comedy. some of those tapes are just hilarious, especially if you've already had a couple to drink.

awesome! best of luck with getting your a license... its not that hard, just be prepared to spend extra time on canopy flight and how to fly the pattern because the instructor will not be able to talk you down via radio. its kinda freaky the first couple times then its no big deal after that :)

shit, just make sure there's not a crawfish broil going on the night of your scr initiation and you'll be fine.

:4:0 3 CRW jumps, and a belly jump just screwing around. made some stacks, worked on transitions, did a couple downplanes, had a fun weekend. did manage to tweak my knee pretty good on one of the downplanes. oh, also tried to do a mr. bill but Doc had an unusally hard opening and i just couldnt hold on, and then i had a slammer of an opening myself. so 2 hard openings in one jump. haha. after that i was pretty beat up and called it quits.

ahhhh sweet. i went to Eloy for the christmas boogie, i brought my whuffo deaf friend along (which was a mistake as he was bored out of his mind at the dz. heh.

hmm dumbest thing.. going on a tracking dive as rabbit with.. 30 something jumps. we all lost alt. awareness, and they pulled at 1,500 and me at 1,250 or maybe a lil' lower. dumbest thing i've done yet. heh.

lol reminds me of the first time i ever went through a hail storm, the hail was as big as golf balls, and me and friends thought they were snowballs, so we tried to have a "snowfight" boy, did that suck! hey i'm from texas, what do you expect!!
