  4. Does anyone know off hand what part of the regs specifies the requirements for the PLANE to be legal for jump operations? Thanks in advance for help!
  5. To what end? I think you should seriously talk with your fellow moderator (DSE) about this subject. Otherwise you're going to come off as an uninformed person blowing smoke here. I think it's more or less your completely nonchalant attitude about your friends situation, rather than the fact that could or couldn't actually do anything to help him in the air.
  6. I bet you felt so cool after that. By the way, it's fore, not four.

Spread the word! Blue Skies and much love, Rochelle
  11. I recently started posting again. Honestly, I can't find many threads these days that interest me. A lot of hoopla instead of insightful thinking. How does one have an intelligent debate with stupidity?
  12. While this is true for most women (women love assholes they think they can change), there are some of us who do appreciate the nice guys, BUT, there's a difference between a "nice guy" and a doormat.
  13. Just a guess, but spontaneity and being open to trying new things
  14. I have no idea. Her sister and I go back and forth on whether or not we will be going. Our cousin has already backed out (let's just say, our family isn't shy about not being overly supportive of this marriage.) Being supportive of her and being supportive of this marriage are two different things. From my own 50+ years of life experience (i.e., not just in the abstract), I know that people usually find it very hurtful when friends or relatives boycott their wedding because they disapprove of the marriage; and that's a hurt that lasts a long time, often regardless of what happens to the marriage in the long run. If people didn't support my marriage I would rather them NOT go and pretend to be happy and use me for the free food, drinks, and fun.
  15. so... would you go to the wedding or not? That was the question.
  16. Well, I'm out... no to all 3! Well, #2 is flexible. I don't mean I want a PhD or anything, but don't be a moron.
  17. Nothing! If you ask me. But the way our global society is running, You can say that in public and be accepted. I say that....holy mother of god! Immagine if I said "I want an active educated woman who isn't a fatass..." Do you know the number of nasty posts you would see of people, both guys and gals, calling me all kinds of names? The people who call you names are probably the fatasses. (I jest... sort of) Problem is, most people think you just need to "accept" people how they are. That's fine and all, but not for someone I want to have as a mate for life. I want someone who cares enough about themselves to stay in reasonable shape (and no, round is NOT a shape), not someone who is lazy and doesn't care about health. Another problem is probably how the specifics are being said. If you say "I don't want a fatass" most people are going to get offended just because you said fatass. If you say you want someone who cares about their body, you'll get a different reponse.
  18. Supporting your friend by going to the wedding, is the same as supporting her decision to get married to this douche. I don't think I could go.
  19. The size means nothing if you have no height to go along with it. Someone who is 5'0" and a size 8 is going to be a little... "thick".
  20. Active and educated are bad how? Yes, the not wanting to be a mom or a mom are difficult. Also you forgot, not allergic to cats. I have two.
