  1. If you let her take you to court, and you get a judgment against you, no matter how small, your credit is fucked for up to 7 years. 200 point drop immediately. I'd pay the bill because your dog injured hers. Next time, call animal control if you see her dog unleashed.
  2. His name isn't actually Wookie, is it? Cute dog.
  3. I wouldn't help a broken jumper if they got hurt doing something stupid. I would, however, help out a broken jumper that got messed up by a freak accident or someone else' mistake. I donated a lot of money recently to a jumper who lost both feet.
  4. Fuck, where can I go for free skydives??? Did you ask?
  5. Ferry's of that length usually carry extra fuel tanks on board. I wonder if there was a crazy headwind, leak, or just a plain ol "ya done goofed!" Sucks either way. but thankfully no one was hurt (except the plane )
  6. http://www.controller.com/default.aspx is probably your best bet. When you say "what to look for"... what do you mean? As long as you have a mechanic do a pre-buy inspection you should be ok.
  7. I think you're better off sticking to that story than making inaccurate accusations.
  8. http://www.coloradodaily.com/ci_14348694#axzz1aDCeW5DH The tow plane pilot was a good friend of his. That's sucks, but there's no reason to hate on the aircraft itself. The airframe itself is awesome. I would fly one myself. It's the target market that I have a quarrel with. Which would be?? Underqualified muppets with enough money to buy a false sense of security. That very well may be some of the pilots that are buying the Cirrus, but that is certainly not the "target market". Cirrus as a company is VERY safety and training oriented. Do you really think their target market is under qualified pilots? Do you think Cirrus enjoys when they have one of their planes go in? Independent sales might market to those types, but Cirrus does not. They have rigorous training programs and proficiency requirements when they sell to new owners, and for experienced pilots who are buying, they are strongly recommended to go to a Cirrus Training Center and go through the Cirrus Transition.

  15. 30 day trial period. You don;t like it, return it. Shouldn't the trial period be the relationship BEFORE marriage? Isn't that was dating is about? Maybe instead of having a 2 year expiration on marriages it would be a better idea to have terms on how long you have to be together before you can get married, and likewise, living together should be a requirement. That's when you really get to know someone.
  16. A day or two over the last several years? I'm sure. Lately? No not really.
  17. That was my plan actually. They won't notice, right?
  18. Wow I can't believe this thread is still around. I should update my answers.
  19. I'm not unwilling but I would be way more comfortable with one. Is it easy to remove the dead aad and just get a re-pack without? I'm confident in my ability in the air, I just want to get refreshed on the "what to do ifs". Better safe(er) than sorry, right? 3/4 years is quite a bit of time not actively thinking about what could happen on my next jump and what I would do in those few seconds.
  20. Maybe 4, I'm not sure; I just know I'm WAY out of currency and I'm getting the itch again. Was at the dz all the time for a few years and then started a couple businesses, had a kid, and well, skydiving wasn't a priority anymore. I feel it creeping up on me again, though. What is the best way to get current again? Through the school or through a coach on the dz? Should I retake one of the AFF levels? Will someone other than the school have safety videos I can watch to get refreshed on malfunctions and problems? I'm nervous about knowing what to do with a malfunction and/or problem. My Cypres is dead so I'll probably have to rent gear () until I can afford another one. Not thrilled about that.
  21. I haven't been to Chicks Rock in 6 years. Looking forward to going this time!
  22. If you're married, did you keep your money separated or get joint accounts? And why? GO!
