  1. Absolutely. Of course, explaining canine theory to the guy whose dog just shit on your lawn might cause important points to be lost.
  2. It was also your understanding that Jesus was coming, Armageddon was nigh, Q was real, Trump would win and quitting drinking would make you a better man. Quite the track record Nostradamus.
  3. That was shallow, insulting to everyones intelligence and I don't believe you. I know you don't GAF. I believe it was first and foremost a personal pocketbook decision. Knowing in advance who and what he is you chose inflicting him on the country again in the belief he would help you push real estate better than Biden.
  4. I cannot imagine a more clarifying post in response. Well done.
  5. Was that supposed to shame me? Aren't you the guy who claimed life long membership in the DB Cooper thread as a credential for shutting it down and then continued to post there? You aren't the only yo on SC who has edited and published Robert. I respect your work. It's just that in some things length isn't an advantage.
  6. Robert, Your posts are too long for an internet forum. I doubt I'm alone in just reading the first few sentences and then moving along. Just a thought.

    Q

Whenever have you provided a fact or claimed any position here that worked out to be true? Have you not recognized that you must go further and further afield to find anything to support your beliefs? You once claimed that people here don't think you are smart. Well, part of being smart is the ability to recognize when you are wrong. If you are smart it's time to show it.
  8. airdvr, Please help me understand. Seriously. Why would a guy like you vote for Trump this election? There must be some sort of decision tree that gets you there. From the outside all I can guess is that it has to be that you believe his economic policies will benefit you over the next four years. Is there more to it?
  9. So are you arguing for a national standard? Regardless, the states did great this election. No fraud or wrongdoing that could be described as more than minor has yet been discovered. Even the international observers here found nothing. And yet your candidate is hell bent on making the next presidents transition a disaster. And it all was not just predictable, it was in fact predicted. You voted for that and frankly I find that to be sad.
  10. My follow up to yesterday's question was posted simultaneously. Thanks for the answer. New question: given your claim to know who he is and isn't, and given that you accept the fact that Biden won, how do you feel about voting for him now?
  11. You didn't answer from yesterday: Do you trust yourself? Let me ask you, do you believe there was voter fraud or wrongdoing of any kind sufficient to justify Trump's refusal to engage Biden and Biden's team in the transition process?

    Q

It was a dark and stormy night, I lay awakened by the phantom twitch of an arm or a leg, and above me looking down with the gleam of an illiberal southern gentleman in his eye was the Boogie Man. The End.

Any further news about the Easter Bunny?
  14. December 7, 1972. Static line on a round. After researching all of the possibilities I selected the only choice available. Today's a different day. In my opinion there is no better way to make a first skydive than a Tandem out of a Turbine aircraft from 12.5K or higher. No diss to the small a/c dz's (I've taken 100's of Tandems out of my own 182's) it's just that an exit from a large door is easier for both parties and higher is better. It's a true freefall skydive, you can slap hands and talk rap with your buddies in the airplane, it's lower stress and, just like learning to fly an airplane, there is a personal flight instructor there to show you how to fly the thing. If you love it the rest of the skydiving world will still be open to you. Also, the day's of saving up 30 bucks to make a static line jump or clear and pull every month or so are over. So if price is driving your selection save up a bit more first so you can push straight through after you start. Trust me, the cost of a Tandem at the start of the journey won't even be a measurable amount of the total spent after a few years. Just don't think about it, money has never been better wasted than on skydiving.
  15. Do you trust yourself? Let me ask you, do you believe there was voter fraud or wrongdoing of any kind sufficient to justify Trump's refusal to engage Biden and Biden's team in the transition process?
  16. Agreed. But Biden is, as I understood the original point.
  17. In the spring. Currently they are all off to their winter jobs in second hand stores, dye shops and tattoo parlors.
  18. Let's use a more on point example. Say you're in a garage with your wizard buddy and you need a half dozen or two people to start a company. Different process.
  19. I didn't perceive the discussion was about including a potentially controversial hire in an operating organization where buy off and demonstrating inclusiveness was an advantage and time was unlimited. I thought it was about building an initial team. Right or wrong I think that's a time for decisions not group think. Of course I believe in inclusiveness. You've seen packers, right?
  20. No, you don't. That goes double if you already don't want them on your team. Why risk damaging esprit by overriding group think? Better to choose and require trust in your decision.
  21. The first half was about team building and the last bit was about making best use of the team you have. I personally wouldn't choose Tulsi Gabbard any sooner than I would choose Marriane Williamson because my gut tells me the risk of either trying to insert their own agenda into the system is too great. I don't see either as purpose built for a leadership role on a leadership team. Could be wrong but that would be my call. On the other hand I'd be looking hard at Gretchen Whitmer, John Kasich, Stacy Abrams and Val Demmings to name a few.
  22. Against the prospect of revenge by a vindictive moron with 71 million acolytes? Maybe he has that level of integrity but I haven't seen it. The only hope is if his republican enablers realize that the integrity of our elections is what keeps them at the trough.
  23. I think I gave skydekker a blast of shit over his being overly assertive with the US is a banana republic thing. I'm beginning to regret the opinion after today.
  24. She has too much negative perception. But I agree the deplorable's need a dose of pandering.
