Hip-Hip Hooray!!! The Canadians are fighting each other now. Finally we get some entertainment.

    Q

No, brother, I meant you observed correctly that Q could have just walked away. Because Q didn't it might tell us something about who or where Q is. That's all that I meant.
  3. JoeWeber

    Q

I was not joking. If you want to know who Q is a good start will be figuring out where Q is. You might also stumble on why Q is. People do things for reasons. Breadcrumbs.
  4. JoeWeber

    Q

You're right. But he/she didn't. We have an actual breadcrumb, it seems. Time for a little cogitating.

    Q

??? Are you saying we're too old to do anything useful, that you beat your kids, or that your son is Q? I for one am not giving up my slot to any 37 jump wonders, not happening.

    Q

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Psalm 23:4. What's going on here is called credulity. As I've posted previously, I am persuaded it happens at the level of the brain in some anatomical, chemical or combinative way. It is probably a survival mechanism that worked well when everyone else was running in a certain direction from who knows what. It also worked well early on in human development helping us to form societal structures and when struggling to make sense of the natural world. Now it's a bit like your appendix; generally not a problem but always ready to blow up inside you and wreck your life. Your credulity appendix blew, Ron. Simple.

    covid-19

That's brutal. MSM here in the states are reporting limits of just two per ice fishing shack for social distancing. Be strong, brother.
  8. What is the basis for your assertion?
  9. Forgot religion, fear, racism, isolationism and minuscule tea party government I don't get overt racism nor does he come off as a homophobe. Religion, actually credulity, seems a strong component of the conservative philosophy so maybe. I think he is simply being, in accordance with his world view, pragmatic which most times means it's about the money, specifically his money. I also choose not to believe the whataboutism tropes are his real reasons. Whereas I'm outright appalled by the discredit Trump has visited on the American Presidency I reckon airdvr figures that Trump came and Trump will go of his own accord so no worries.
  10. It's simple self centered selfishness, Ken. airdvr voted for the off chance Trump will put a few more dollars in his wallet than Biden over the integrity of the Presidency. As we've already seen he has no argument other than "everybody does it" and "nanner nanner". How ding-a-lings like me see the world makes no more sense to him than his world view makes sense to me.

That shows real initiative in my view. That's it then, I'm going with you.

I need more data. Did you get thrown out or quit.

    covid-19

At this point my position is simple: if BillVon is scared then I'm scared, too. 2020, the year of credulity.

    covid-19

It has me thinking and reading. Autoimmune disease is near the top of the list of horribles.
  15. Absolutely. Of course, explaining canine theory to the guy whose dog just shit on your lawn might cause important points to be lost.
  16. It was also your understanding that Jesus was coming, Armageddon was nigh, Q was real, Trump would win and quitting drinking would make you a better man. Quite the track record Nostradamus.
  17. That was shallow, insulting to everyones intelligence and I don't believe you. I know you don't GAF. I believe it was first and foremost a personal pocketbook decision. Knowing in advance who and what he is you chose inflicting him on the country again in the belief he would help you push real estate better than Biden.
  18. I cannot imagine a more clarifying post in response. Well done.
  19. Was that supposed to shame me? Aren't you the guy who claimed life long membership in the DB Cooper thread as a credential for shutting it down and then continued to post there? You aren't the only yo on SC who has edited and published Robert. I respect your work. It's just that in some things length isn't an advantage.
  20. Robert, Your posts are too long for an internet forum. I doubt I'm alone in just reading the first few sentences and then moving along. Just a thought.

    Q

Whenever have you provided a fact or claimed any position here that worked out to be true? Have you not recognized that you must go further and further afield to find anything to support your beliefs? You once claimed that people here don't think you are smart. Well, part of being smart is the ability to recognize when you are wrong. If you are smart it's time to show it.
  22. airdvr, Please help me understand. Seriously. Why would a guy like you vote for Trump this election? There must be some sort of decision tree that gets you there. From the outside all I can guess is that it has to be that you believe his economic policies will benefit you over the next four years. Is there more to it?
  23. So are you arguing for a national standard? Regardless, the states did great this election. No fraud or wrongdoing that could be described as more than minor has yet been discovered. Even the international observers here found nothing. And yet your candidate is hell bent on making the next presidents transition a disaster. And it all was not just predictable, it was in fact predicted. You voted for that and frankly I find that to be sad.
