  1. Barbie Make-us-enemies just announced at a press statement that now is the time to come together for a peaceful transition of power. Me wonders is someone pointed out to his dead ferret headedness that fomenting insurrection by an elected official is treason.
  2. Thanks, I'm on it. Anything you need from the store on the way back?
  3. Democracy, like your iPhone, has too many features for the most of the electorate. Hence the national yearning for rotary dialing.
  4. Pence sends a letter to Congress with the support of 8 Cabinet members and Pelosi accepts the letter. Then Pence is immediately President for 20 day's while Trump disputes the finding.
  5. If the 25th amendment isn't invoked now then when? Most troubling are his apologists. Even now, when he has openly called for insurrection, Trumpie's are hiding from their own complicity by dismissing the terrorist attack on our nations Capital as a dust up because no uniformed Generals were seen in attendance. I guess commie peoples armies and militias don't count.
  6. No Generals? They did better. They had a US President in command. You need to get real.
  7. Good start. Now only 328 Million to go and we'll be a much smarter nation.
  8. You have got to be shitting me. This is this and you personally own this. We are where we are because of Trump voters. I keep asking you and you keep skating on the answers: 1. What was in it for you that caused you to vote for Trump? 2. Are you now wishing you hadn't?
  9. That's 4 year old science, yo.
  10. In the next 13 days? The only real hope we have now is that they changed the codes.
  11. Which 8 cabinet members are you counting on if Pence makes a play?
  12. You know what you're getting -- you might not like it, but if you tell him he's an asshole, well, he's OK with that , and he'll probably treat you just like he always did Words to live by, I say.
  13. Half a day. Lucky bastard they don't have our Mod's on the job.
  14. Not who I wanted. Too mature, level headed and probably one of those bygones be bygones people. Letita James or Ernie the Hun would have been nice.
  15. Don't quit your day job for venture capitalism.
  16. Fantastic, if abysmally late in the insurrection cycle. Maybe instead of trying to politely interject you could try screaming bloody fucking murder that you had it completely wrong with Trump, are sorry and ashamed of yourself, and beg him to wake the fuck up while we still have some threads of our once great democracy.
  17. Fortunately it's being guarded by American Heroes like this ass taking a selfie with the terrorists.
  18. First time since Hoover has a President lost this badly.
  19. Any conservatives here still believe they knew what they were voting for when they voted for Trump? Any liberals here still believe we should let bygones be bygones?

I'll assume, then, that you aren't in treatment.

Yes, the belief is a common one amongst schizoprenics. But as a mental health professional you knew that, right?

Have you ever taken the MMPI?
  23. That darn narcissism, standing alone, believing you are right and everyone else is wrong no matter what you hear. When people run in circles it's a very, very Mad World.
  24. For the win: ryoder. It is mental illness. Now I can't say who, without giving the wrong impression here, but I have posited on these pages that it's a problem that is best understood at the level of the brain. It's nothing more than a predisposition developed by associations. Not too long from today we'll understand the religious mindset in the same way we understand Tourette's syndrome now.
  25. It actually started much earlier. Bill was born to a very poor circumstance and, to be sure, he's made the most of it. As a kid he'd take any job available just to buy food and the mismatched sneakers he's always seen wearing even today. Early on he started trading used baseball gloves which gave him the idea of going to MIT. One day, whilst walking along a street looking for returnables, he noticed one of those Duck Crossing signs you see here and there and had an epiphany. The very next day, after sourcing an appropriate uniform from discards in nearby vacant lots, he stationed himself at one with a cardboard Duck Crossing sign. The genius bit was he charged 5 cents per car. It didn't take long before he was known as the Duck Kid and folks would go out of their way to give him a nickel. He's a real American story and a true inspiration.
