I guess I've just never really had anyone screw me over. I bet it does suck.....I always trust everyone, and figure if they betray the trust, it's on them.....and I move on. I am totally with you, Kriss.....I skydive and have a 5 year-old, and I really do think it's selfish in some way. In the years that I've jumped, a BUNCH of people have died skydiving, and many that were the most careful, safest people you'd know. Something just went wrong.....and kids lose parents that way. I still go through a big debate about that in my mind, but not skydiving is simply not an option..... some days it's just not worth gnawing through the straps http://home.earthlink.net/~linzwalley

I did poised exits when I started, but the good thing about hanging from the strut is that you come off with good body position,.....you don't have an opportunity to push yourself off the step backwards and start all that funky flailing....I've seen folks more than a couple times flip backward through their risers and crazy stuff like that. Pammi.....probably not. Having a caregiver does not necessarily mean that a person has to be under 24-hour direct supervision. For instance, even though we, as parents, are our children's caregivers, kids still run up and down the streets and do all kinds of stuff that their parents know nothing about. Same situation for people with MR who are unable to care for themselves on a day-to-day basis. I can't think of any situation in my 12 years of social work in which a caregiver was given the responsibility of monitoring a person every minute of the day, unless the person being cared for is on an outing from some kind of locked facility.....there's no crime in a caregiver watching a movie some days it's just not worth gnawing through the straps http://home.earthlink.net/~linzwalley
