    mr bill

that's an excellent shot! That's also the most potentially painful way to do a Mr.Bill I think I've seen. S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  2. I wonder what's waisted more bandwidth in the long run... people reposting, or people telling people that they've reposted.... Some of us aren't on here every second of everyday, we miss stuff... the second posting of things is sometimes seen by new eyes. What I'm sure absolutely no one has missed (and no one would) is the repost police.... STOP!!! 3. A friend of mine sent me this link... I"ve watched it a few times now, and can't beleive how misinformed this guy is, and the spin that's put on our sport because of it. I'd say more, but it's just something you'll have to see for yourself. http://leenks.com/?media=221 S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  4. thanks to all of you for the info. Neither one of us had heard about it, kinda thought someone here would have. S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  5. A friend asked me about a parachute called that, just curious if anyone knows anything.... S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  6. I voted no, only because there's no option for Hell NO, or no fucking way S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".

    Dating

I'd say at least mostly girls S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  8. I think the legstraps would be ok. I'm male, but I'm small too. The DW straps will be like cardboard and feel like they're going to saw you in half as you walk... for the first 10 jumps or so... after that, you'll never want anything else again. I found the risers I got with my V0 to be much shorter than my J1, I'm going to get longer ones in the near future. (no, I'm not sure what size they are,) S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  9. I don't have a pic of it on actually... here's what it looks like off S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  10. I have a V0, and really like it a lot. It's comfy as all get out, and looks awesome. It fits a PDR 113. I also, like others, found that the pud with the freefly handle took some getting used to. My friend has a pud with a hackey, and I think if I were going to order a new one, I may look at that option. I find the handle is oddly shaped for the location, it's too far to the outside of your back, or too high... either way, takes some getting used to. Definately do some hop n pops to get comfortable with it. 11. but if the main was on top, when you deployed the reserve, most times the top would be empty no? Wouldn't this get rid of the edge to catch? 12. I'm in Canada, so it's hard if not impossible to get dealer demos up here, haven't travelled south to do any, and didn't know anyone who had what I wanted, so I didn't demo any of the gear I've ever bought. I researched extensively on the gear, but never got to actually jump it. 13. well, my rig was worth more than my car, but then I bought a second vehicle (another used P.O.S.) ... unfortunately, the same day I got my second vehicle, my brand new rig arrived too.... so my rigs are once again more than my cars. 14. it was my impression that this part of Brians theory was talking about the entry angle, not the entire carve. I could of course be wrong, but that's what I got from it. 15. I'm in one right now, and it's excellent. There are other complications that I won't get into, but the dz is excellent. She's come out there, and started learning how to pack last weekend, likes all the people out there, and will probably end up out there even when I'm not. Granted, my dz is the coolest around, and who wouldn't feel that way, but yeah, all is well in my world. 16. from what I understand, and this isn't first hand knowledge, just what I've heard, you don't really gain anything from x-bracing until you load it at 1.8 or 1.9... in fact the thinner airfoil makes it less stable at lower wingloadings, so it's actually more dangerous than normal... like I said, I could be mistaken, that's where the posts following this come in. 17. ditto... got used to blocks early on, and honestly, I've borrowed gear before, and because there were loops there, but I don't think they'd ever been used before and they were the flat to the riser kind, my vote is for the stick out kind if you're gonna go with loops. Pilot Chute

you should talk to whoever you bought your container from... it should come with a pilot chute S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  19. just to add on to your comments too... the airlock isn't about performance, well, not as it's typically thought of... it's about keeping an inflated wing above your head in a bad situation. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that an airlock canopy will out perform another canopy due to the airlocks. that's where planform etc come in. 20. Actually, it's funny, I was the only one there that had one when I went. I'd offer to come down and let you try mine, but it's stuck in Manitoba right now awaiting a repack. New game...

I'm guessing they threw the light saber in there as per the millions of emails from Ivan S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  24. I put some jumps on a Samurai 120 before I got my stiletto. Not many, but enough to form a bit of an opinion. Flying that canopy was almost like it was controled with thought. It just seemed to do exactly what I wanted it to. I would have gotten one of them, but went with the vengeance for financial reasons. To this point, I'm glad I did so far, but still in ways wonder what the Sam in the same size would be like. 25. you know what? even if he wasn't actually playing... I think being able to use his balls like that and not lose track of what hand is doing what, and where his balls are going is pretty impressive by itself.
