My sister and I did a static line jump together about 3 yrs ago. I invited the parents up for a little league game that my son was playing in, didn't mention anything about their two kids jumping from an airplane. Called my wife on our lunch break to have her bring the parents out. I guess mom asked my wife, "Why are we at the airport?" just as a couple canopies opened, and they walked in the hanger as we were suiting up. Boy that was fun, but not nearly as fun as the plane having engine trouble just before take off, so she could sit around awhile thinking about it while they fixed the plane. She's cool with it now though, even thinking about doing a tandem this summer. Did AFP levels 2 and 3 Friday, stood up my landing on level 3, and did level 4 on Saturday, first solo exit, first unintentional backflip on exit, first out landing and stood that one up too. Gotta say thanks to Rook Nelson, he is a great instructor. Well we were at the mall and we went into the pet store just to let the wife and kids look at the puppies and one thing led to another and we now have a yellow cockatiel. Man what a great time. It was so much fun meeting so many great people. And then my wife was informing me of stuff she swears I was doing. It couldn't have been me, had to be my evil twin I can't wait til the weather breaks and I can get licensed and make some jumps with them, what an awesome group of people. It's wierd how stuff like that happens. My 9 yr old woke up the other day and couldn't move his neck. He strained a muscle somehow, only thing we can think of is he slept on it wrong, but either way he's in a neck brace for a week. Really strange. Cause I'm not licensed yet. I made 2 static line jumps there about 3 yrs ago (when it was still Skydive Goshen) and ran out of money. Once I'm licenesed (hopefully by the 2nd week of June) I plan on jumping there quite a bit. No extra beds, but if you don't mind sleeping on the floor PM me.
