  2. along the same lines how hard is it to put an audible in a protec? The ones I've used through out my student training didn't appear to have a place for one. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever

  5. I'm so glad she is home. And tags work. Our dog was outside (fenced yard) and we didn't even know she was gone until someone called and said they had our dog. She had broken the lattice out of the bottom of the deck and went for a strole around the neighborhood. We were so grateful for the good neighbor that picked her up and thought to look for a tag. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  6. From "They Live" "I've come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubble gum." ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  7. Thanks guys, that really makes a lot of sense and I will definetely practice that next time I'm in the air. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  8. 0:5:many Took the packing class and jumped my first pack job Sunday before having to go to my cousins high school graduation. Monday came out and did 4 jumps. First attempt at a 3 way that was just a blast (Thanks Enzo and Mike) and 3 solos to finish up and get my A stamp. My sister was on the load for my graduation jump doing her AFP level 2,which was way cool and my cousin that graduated from high school did her first tandem and I got to be on that load. What a great weekend this has been. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  9. Sat June 12 I will be paying my beer fees
  10. I graduated AFP today and got in enough solos to get my A license stamp. What a great weekend. My cousin graduated high school and we bought her a tandem for that and she was on the load I did my first solo on. Need to say a HUGE thank you to the entire Skydive Chicago family. I can't wait to get back in the air and really start learning things. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  11. I used to drive my wife nuts with "Tombstone" I could do the whole movie word for word. I think my favorite line from there is: Doc Holiday: I beg to differ sir, we started a game we never got to finish (cough) play for blood remember?" ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  12. I was just curious if it is good practice to get in the habit of doing a track at break off altitude for when I start jumping with others, or is it a waste since I really won't be able to tell how much distance I'm getting? ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  13. I did a search and didn't find this question, not sure if I just didn't phrase the search right. Anyway, I'm about to finish up AFP and send in for my A license (Monday weather permitting) and I'm curious if you should do a separation track after a solo. And assuming you are facing 90 degrees from jump run already should you go ahead and make the 180 before you start the track? ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  14. I did a search and didn't see it posted. Watched Sportscenter last nite before work and the head down record made #8 on the top 10 plays of the week. They show some really short video of it. Pretty cool. Thought I'd let everyone know so they can check it out this morning. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever

  17. 18. Good job dude. Do they have cute nurses at your place like they do at mine??? I have roller veins and they usually miss about every 3rd time, but its not such a big deal if the cute nurse misses. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  19. That isn't always a good idea either. I work for the railroad and stay in a hotel south of Chicago and the hotel vans drive us to the train yards. Man I have never met a bigger group of nondrivers than the people that hotel employees. The most dangerous thing I do every day by far is get in one of those vans. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  20. My grandparents used to live about 3 miles from a dropzone (Skydive Sandwich, in Illinois) My sister and I used to spend a couple weeks in the summer there and we used to sit in my grandparents yard and watch them come down. Always thought that would be cool. Fast forward 20 yrs and I was at an airshow and Skydive Goshen had a booth and they explained static line to me so I called my sister and off we went
  21. I do to know where it resides She just doesn't like how I sort it....work clothes, nonwork clothes. The kids don't seem to mind the pink socks And I don't understand why you put them away, you're just going to have to get them back out anyway ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  22. 0:0:0 Damn I hate my job, worked all weekend, and couldn't cut out sick because I have to do that for Wed to take my wife, kids, and sister to a Sox game. 24. I looked into it not long ago. It's wasn't real hard but it was really expensive. Something like 170/month for 250,000 coverage. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  25. I suggested that to my dad. He laughed at said "Yeah, well be careful" LOL ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
