  1. I know I never post on here, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Me and my kitty cat (Sugie) are looking for a place to live in BR until December. I go to school and have two jobs. My home DZ is Gold Coast and I try to make it there at least every other Sunday. I appreciate any responses or suggestions. You can contact me on here or at [email protected] Thanks! Blue skies! -Jennifer Myers
  2. whoa i just read all that. It's a fact though...let me just clarify that I know I am not a skydiver yet. But there is always room for improvement! -jen-
  3. Oh, and of course thank you to everyone who gave info! I was trying to collect info for something at school... -jen
  4. Man, I realize this is only like my 4th post and all but yall seem like you're being kind of harsh. When you do something new, you have to do it for the first time before you can become a pro. I'm sure yall all remember your first tandem dive and your first post on this forum. I guess since I only tandem right now and am looking into getting a license that makes me a dreamer not a skydiver. sorry guys jen
  5. On a scale of 1-10 how hard do yall think it is to get life insurance as a skydiver? Odd question, but it's been bothering me for some reason. xoxojen
  6. Some friends of mine all got together this weekend to do some tandem dives. 3 of them 1 of me. We were there for 4 hours, and had about 20 minutes of conversation. I've known these people since I was 15, so about 5 years. Well I get in the plane with my tandem master and 2 other guys I had literally just met and we were all chit chatting up a storm like we've known each other for years point being that you know its sad when you feel more comfortable around 3 people u just met, than 3 people you have known for years. is it just me or does this not seem right? maybe its just that wonderful appeal of you skydiverssss :) xoxojenxoxo
  7. First and foremost, I live in Louisiana, and I need a place to get a license! Any suggestions? Oh, yes, and how much is this gonna cost..I have a feeling my piggy bank is going to have to have his legs cut off xoxojenxoxo
  8. I figure I had better introduce myself into this world of yalls. My name is Jen and im from new orleans! I'm practically a skydiving virgin, I've only done tandem twice. But it was so awesome I can't wait to have money so I can get a license! Looking forward to many many chats with you guys!! xoxoJen
  9. thanks all so much! I'm very excited and emerald will hear from me tomorrow!
  10. Just wanted to know who recommends (or doesn't) the Emerald Coast Skydiving Center... This will be my 2nd jump, tandem, and my friends first. I was also wondering if you could do jumps over the beach. thanks, jennifer!
