I am not sure how much of a "breakthrough" this is. Think about it... Like said above, a perfect sphere would take up 74%. But if you stretched it out it would start to take up more and more space with less "surface" pretend these are spheres ()()()()()()()()()() every where a sphere touches you lose alot of "packing" but if they were say (_)(_)(_)(_)(_)(_)(_)(_) each sphere takes up more volume and has less surface. so you could "fill" more with these than you could above. or like turtlespeed said, just mash 'em to bits and you'll get alot better packing.

Why are you nervous? Your still jumping from a plane, EVERYTHING is the same except you have 10(depending) seconds of freefall instead of 60. Do you still have some High jumps to do? if not then just go do another High solo, And when you exit the plane just do a AFF 1 all over again but within the first 10seconds of exit. 13,500 exit arch alti 12,500 or whatever (just not below 11,500' if so then do it again) reach Grab(dont pull) relax -normal skydive- Then do the same exact thing but you'll be at 5,500 instead of 13,500. and have fun!

Has anyone heard of or been to a collection center "DCI biologicals" They are a plasma collection center. I have never heard of them before and just want to make sure there aren't any horror stories about them. I did some googling but didn't find much. Thanks.

4000' Wave off. Pull. (I was watching the packer shove canopy into one of the cells before I grabbed the rig and was wondering if that was right?) So I questioned "I hope it opens" Wham! "yup it opend" Put hands up and grab risers. So far my favorite opening was on jump 13, a solo. alti check at 6k look down and see an open canopy at like a 45deg angle from me. somewhere between 5k and 4k I was still higher than the canopy and just pitched and watched the other canopy as mine opened. It was awesome just watching the other canopy flying UP relative to me then just slowing down and we were open at around the same altitude.

I think my first solo exit was my best out of my training. I say this because you wont get jerked around if the JM leaves just a tad too late or gets blown around a little bit. Just relax and show your JM that you can do this by yourself. Have fun!

Wing suit. So he was in the "front" of the plane (last out) where students usually are.

Well recently I was going to go do a solo (jump #15) and the ground winds were dancing around 14mph so I talked to an instructor and he said I could jump (I had jumped in these winds before). So another student and I (he has 20) get loaded up and on the plane. At around 6-7 grand the pilot tells us that we cant jump because the winds got too high. I figured no big deal, I took the chance on the winds and they changed and now its going to cost me a lift ticket. But the other student was disregarding the call to stay in the plane and was getting almost angry. Another jumper in a WS Again told him and I that we were staying in the plane. So the other student says... Nah I've jumped in winds like this before. The WS jumper was getting upset and Firmly told the other student that the "ground says dont jump, you dont jump!" So I moved over so we were both sitting against the bulkhead (twin otter) put on my seat belt. The other student put on his seat belt. Then as we were taxiing down the runway after landing, he took of his seat belt and started walking towards the back of the plane. When we got back to manifest a few jumpers started talking to the student, (I dont know what was said) I guess what I'm trying to say is that if an Instructor tells you not do jump, just accept it and jump another day. BTW we both got our lift tickets back.

Patrick died from misrouting something over his container preventing anything from coming out. I believe he was working on deflectors. Absolutly nothing to do with landing a WS.

Why dont you start where Patrick De G was trying. I heard/read somewhere that he was working on something to "Take off" of a slope and then land back on it. Might sound stupid but try this. (to relax) Start from your toes and squeze all your muscles in order to your eyebrows. For example curl your toes, flex your ankles, squeze your calves, your quads, and up. Also another thing is to put your hands together like your praying but only have your fingertips touching and push your hands together (building pressure up on your fingertips) and then drop your arms to your side and let the stress "fall off your fingers" its kinda corny but it works. how about cutting a hole in it for his head?!? Half the people will find it "cool" and feel like he's supporting america but he is just disgracing the flag. *edit* no its not illegal. You can do anything you want to to an american flag (freedom of speech)
