  9. Why do you need it? The easiest way is learn by do it. I really dont know where can you find docs about flatplack, you can find docs about propack in the owners manual of every canopy and psychopack along the docs of Icarus canopies. Im not sure that the last to method is simple for a beginner.
  10. You forget something. You had a 180degree twist. So the "ears" not on the top of the nose, they are under/behind it. I dont get it anyway. Ive seen a sabre propacked, he folded the 'ears' on the top of the nose. He told me, thats accepted by PD and psycho pack is not recommended by PD.

  12. Im not a JM, but Ive seen them:). JMs are doing IAD in our club. If we have just one JM with C206 he is in front of the student, if there to one in front and the other is behind.

  15. I use to put around my left wrist and put it into my jumpsuite when I had time: canopy fine, no traffic...
  16. I had more than 50 jumps with PD Navigator. Its a hybid F111/ZP topskin student canopy with WL between 0.8-0.95. I had no hard opening at all. I had hard openngs with Zenith 280(7cell F111 accuracy) and toggle preasure was quite high too.It has moderate speed and very soft and really forgiving landings. That experience is not compareable with landing with F111s. F111 has good point is CRW and accuracy. ZP means more speed, soft landings, more stable in turbulance and higher wind limits.
  17. You`d better consult with your instructor. Anyway thet 245sqfeet canopy is quite heavily loaded for your experience. Dont break in the final. It cost you "flare power". You can get flare/lift just from speed. So start flare from full glide(no beaks). Anyway I had ~50 jumps with F111 type canopies. Try to forget them. ZP gives you much-much more lift/flare(and other things too)
  18. Land a 7Cell??? Its nothing special to land a 7cell. But landing a ZP and landing an F111 is quite different. Comapring those canopies you used the difference is mostly the size. What is you exit weight?
  19. And so? Both units are digital and performing self check on turning on. Both can require maintenance. What is the reason to replace something if its working? Do you think theyve just replaced battery? It should be a new generation electronics. Think you might not able to find the same electronic components than 10 years before. You can trust like others did with Cypress in `91
  20. Once I got one of them open after 2000m bellyfly jump. It was really scarry. I had problems to reach even the breaks. Before you ask two person checked me on the ground before boarding.
  21. Check my previous post. I was really relieved after landing with that cricket. That was the smallest conpy Ive used. Ive expected worse landing with it.
  22. Ive heard that some rreserve packer are not willing to work with Racer containers.
  23. Ive tested a gear. Main: Merit170 Reserver: Cricket 147 Exit weight: 98kg(218lbs) I had a mal and I chopped it. I had a normal, stand-up landing with the reserve.
