  1. 63 is at LEAST 2 decades too soon to take up knitting. If your mom is that active MORE POWER to her. My grandfather is 88 years old and still plays the trumpet in 3 DIFFERENT BANDS. He plays no less than 4 gigs a week not to mention practices. The trumpet is a very physical instrument to play too. Thats a tiring schedule for a young person let alone someone approacing 90. He just keeps on rockin. I hope to hell I'm like that Dont try to make her old before its time

    Just my .02

I also noticed. Religeon derives from God, not the other way around. God isnt a member of any religeon at all. He is God. Its correct, God is not a Muslim. Neither is he Christian, Buddhist, Taoist, Jewish, or any other organized religeon.

    Coffee

Strong French roast. Fresh ground beans No cream no sugar. Just coffee. Magic
  4. Argue till your dicks fall off about whether it was right or wrong. All thats needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. You've heard it. I believe it. Either way, its done. Right or wrong, we went in there and did it. Your heated discussions accomplish little other than to generate bad feelings. I'm for one am glad Saddam is no longer in power. SHOULD we have removed him? Its moot people.
  5. I have them but have never used them. I have this fear of going to deploy and putting the handle through the swoop cord loop and having a horseshoe. Has that ever happened to anyone?
  6. My dad just got his license in Fla too. If I get a house down there I'll have to buy it from you cuz I dont think I could handle having my dad trying to sell me something Congrats by the way. I'm told that Florida has the hardest real estate exams.

    8lb man!

OK Blahr, I just have to say, well Duh! You HAVE to say it? Why? Is it like tourettes or something?

    8lb man!

Um...this is a joke article describing the birth of a male human baby. The joke being that nobody understood that fact. I guess nobody here did either
  9. Even a canopy manufacturer wont commit to specifics of performance even when given very specific info. ie: I Asked PD "What is the airspeed of my Sabre2 210 in full STRAIGHT flight loaded exactly at 1:1" They declined to give any direct answer. With that in mind, how can any electronic device know about how any given canopy will perform during radical or high performance maneuvers with the amazing number of variables involved? Since there is no way for it to accurately analyze and predict this, how then can it give reliable info on when it safe or not safe to initiate said high performance maneuver?

  11. How do they manage with a large head (23 1/2 inch) and glasses? Additionally, they dont mention price. For those reasons I bought a Havoc and I didnt care for it and ended up selling it again right away at a loss. My fault for being dumb, but I'd prefer to not repeat the mistake. I'd want to demo one before laying out money again.
  12. Didnt know they made a helmet. I cant find any reference to it on their website...
  13. I think the lady that wanted to go to the head of the line should have asked everyone if they minded, not just the guy up front. Another person up front delays everyone, not just the one guy. Also, in all honesty, my answer to her question could be different at differet times depending on whether or not I was in a hurry myself. Some days I might be ok with it and others I might not be. I'd be more ok with it if I, as someone that would also be delayed by her, were asked too. To the fat fuck I would say "Why dont you address your comments to the person they are intended for rather than mumbling loudly to your girlfriend about it like an idiot. Then I might suggest that he limit himself to 1 or 2 sandwiches instead of 12.
  14. Happy Birthday :-) I have my 15th coming up in May. Due to a very long layoff from jumping and the timing of it all, I will make my 100th skydive on my 15th sky birthday
  15. Where are you Ivan??? I know we've seen this one before!
  16. $5000.00 rig that I'll be paying for for the next 2 years? Not a chance
  17. There isnt a choice for what I do :-) I pack my own all day except for after my last jump of the day. Then I pay a packer to pack it for me. I never jump that pack job though, I always repack it again myself the night before I go again.
  18. Thats not a Wonderhog. Its a Vector
  19. Thats pretty out of date too. I bought a Wonderhog in 1994 and it was 14 years old at that time and everyone was jumping Vector 2's The Wonderhog was the predecessor of the Vector, which was followed by the Vector 2, and then the Vector 3 and then the Vector 3 M and Micron. They are likely to be nearly 25 years old, not set up for AAD's, and from some of the threads I've seen, some riggers might refuse to do repacks on them due to their age. You will also likely get teased a lot about the age of your gear. I know I did and yet another 10 years have passed since then. I bought a new Vector 3 M a couple months ago and had them put the Wonderhog logo on the ring cover to remind me of my old rig
