  1. I hope to god that nobody was sitting in that chair when it went
  2. There is a 100% chance that I will be there on Sunday Look for the bald cat
  3. "rip chord" sounds like something you play on a guitar "chord" being a sequence of 3 or more notes played simultaneously or sequentially as in an arpeggio. Try CORD
  4. Feb and March wind doesnt blow. It sucks
  5. I pull anywhere from 3000 to 4500 depending on who I'm with and what I'm doing. Usually 3000 ft.
  6. naming positions could become the latest thing. I've decided that my particular tracking position is called "Floupickti"
  7. If Freeflying is the act of flying your body in any (non-traditional) position, then what makes Atmonauti NOT freeflying and therefore worthy of its own (stupid) name? I've seen freeflyers fly at all kinds of angles. Its still called freeflying. Is it a specific angle like if your torso is exactly at 41 degrees up from parallel to the ground and your head is turned slightly to the left then its Atmonauti? Can someone hit me if I use that word again?

    zip ties

Hey, there's lots of newbies here who have no idea how important zip ties are. I felt it was important to educate them. Zip tie tip - Don't use the really thin ones as handcuffs. And keep a pair of scissors handy in case of fire. I'm 100% with you, Bytch. Well, except for the Snoop Dog adjectives. zipties ROCK! I personally have 3 different sizes on hand in large numbers to meet all my different tie needs. I'd say more but I have a strong urge to go fasten some thing to some other thing
  9. Man, I thought skydivers had lives.
  10. Mine symbolize that I thought drawing pictures on my skin with needles was cool I have 6 tattoos. 2 on each arm and 2 on my chest. They are nicely done as tattoos go but if I had them to do over my skin would be clean and picture free.
  11. Thats right. I'm a republican myself and I would prefer to see Gilligan or maybe even the Skipper in the White House.

    Favorite Cereal

You forgot something rather obvious. Hello??? Ever heard of oatmeal???!!?? Hello??? I like Quaker oatmeal. I add a couple spoonfuls of brown sugar. I load up on it an hour before lifting. Every day. Keeps me goin. My cholesterol is 170 too
  13. The Otter and Skyvan wil be returning to Cross Keys in April. Cant wait. The Caravan and Porter are super cool compared to the Cessnas I was used to before I started jumping at CK, but I cant wait to try out the even cooler planes :-) Still have 6 weeks or so to go...
  14. I'm sure once the person in question reads your useful posting they will straighten right up and buy a bigger canopy. Especially that big helpful "WTF" at the end. That'll get their ass right in gear! Thank god for your thoughtful posting! You may have saved a life today
  15. Clearly anyone that doesnt believe in nothing, as you do, is brainwashed. Why cant they see that???!?!
  16. I jump a Sabre2 210 loaded at 1.1:1 and I have no end cell closure issues at all. I pro-pack and leave the nose hanging in the middle. I dont push it in. I dont spread it out. I dont do anything to it at all. I have exellent openings 600-700 ft and on heading. Occasionally off heading by 10 - 15 degrees at the most.
  17. He tried to make it look like this was the standard position of Muslims. Deception by omission. I totally agree with PhillyKev. He is right on. Actually I'm just trying to get back in his signiture
  18. I second that. (The congrats part, not the "sweetie" part) Got my new jumpsuit last week and have jumped it twice. I was startled at how much of a difference the booties made in my track.
  19. You need mini-rings and type 17 risers to pull the slider down over them. If you have the larger rings and risers like I do, you cant pull the slider down. I just collapse mine and pull the rear slider grommets over the top of the rear risers to keep the slider quiet
  20. Absolutely. I have no problem using that method when necessary. I just find that life is easier for all concerned if I actually have him on my side so I usually try that approach first. If there is no joy, then the big foot comes down.
  21. All, I'm looking for a source where I might compare safety ratings of different vehicles. My son is looking for his first car. As a 16 year old male he of course wants something fast and cool. Well frankly, I see no difference between allowing that and letting a 20 jump wonder buy a Katana or some other high performance canopy. One thing I dont want to do is say "Cuz I said so." when he demands to know why he cant buy some hot rod so I'm looking for some hard data that will show not only how safe a vehicle is in a collision but also how likely one is to be in a collision in the first place if driven by someone with little or no experience. I need comparisons between many options including the fast cool cars. :-) Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cheers, Chris
  22. Yes. I agree. I'll take the turbine. But if the choice is a 182 or nothing at all I'm goin up in that 182. On the day in question, turbines were not an option.
  23. Hope they stick around till Monday. Sunday is gonne be windy as hell. I doubt there will be much jumping goin on.
