  1. Mine was good. He had long blonde hair like the Nelson brothers.. (appropriate for the time tho).. and I was convinced he was a vampire. But I don't remember his name.
  2. Depends on what you're inflating. How big is it? (just gonna leave that open... )
  3. We didn't meet you until the rafting boogie in the fall of '05, so you weren't there. But I met Psychobob at Dublin 05, and its changed my life forever.
  4. Its nice to see this face again.
  5. Dublin 05 was a great boogie! Thats the year I forgot my gear bag with everything I needed except my rig. Had to scrounge to borrow a helmet, alti, and I think even a pair of shoes! I remember that year being extra muddy! I also remember showing up Weds night, it was cold and rainy, and about 22 people were crammed in Lee's camper drinking.
  6. Gatorade upsets my stomach, and I do not like to drink sugar. This is what I've been using: http://www.nuun.com/ Its a tablet that you drop in 20 oz of water and it dissolves like alka seltzer. Sugar free, electrolyte replacement. I've found them at REI and cycle shops.
  7. How do you think WE feel in Georgia? We can't buy any alcohol on Sunday, and some cities don't allow restaurants to serve it. You really have to plan ahead and hope your friends dont drink all your beer on Saturday if you want to get hammered and nailed on Sunday. (And who doesn't!) Sorry to get off topic.. back to California and whatever is going on out there.
  8. Vin rouge! I have a date with some of that in about an hour and a half! Screw cake... kinder bueno!
  9. Aww... theres a bunch of my favorite people hanging out without me. Glad you guys met though! I need to get myself back to Texas.
  10. Here's another birthday thread! Happy Birthday Kelly! I will NOT be drinking tequila tonight.. hehe! Love you and miss you girl!
  11. What do you think that he should do as VP, if he disagrees with Obama about something, beyond giving his best advice? Stand by what *he* believes in, not by what Obama believes in. Quit changing his political stance on issues. Be true to himself and to his constituents about his real motivations.
  12. What I like most about Palin is that she is, admittedly and proudly, not part of the Washington "machine". I was surprised to hear Bidin admit that he'd changed on some issues depending on his political standing. Good for him for being honest. Joe Bidin also said that as VP he would give Obama his best advice, but its his job to support Obama, and he is not the President, Obama is. To me, thats like saying "I'm not fucking this cat, I'm just holding the tail". Palin's cheesy lines, "Joe Six Pack" and "golly gee", are just part of her personality. Heaven forbid a government official have any sort of personality.
  13. Ugh.. I can't even look at that picture. Brandy this is great news! Send that bastard to hell!
  14. Well thanks for asking! I voted for skyfest dates. School doesn't impact my schedule.
  15. Your subject line says "Please vote for Obama", not "Please do your research so you can make an informed decision, but above all VOTE!". I've not seen the 60 minutes clips you're talking about. I watched both conventions as well as the debates. I'll keep my opinions to myself because I believe its rude to force politics (and religion) on others, but if you're concerned that people aren't paying attention and doing research, you can rest a little easier now. I'm good.
  16. I've always wanted to salt my food out of the head of a labrador.
  17. I've just been asked by our local French-Canadian.. "WTF is a popo?" A popo, (pronounced like the Po in "Po'Boy"), is something cute. Typically small and cute. Samson and Delilah are still small so they are little popo's. Kaha is big and cute, so she's a big popo. That is all for the lesson in silly puppy talk for foreigners today.
  18. Awwwww I love our little popo's so much!!
  19. Here we are, not having any fun. .. and a gratuitous cute puppy pic.
  20. Ok that doesn't sound skeezy at all.. so, which accent were you using?
  21. What did you say to her? Were you the polite young gentleman that we all know and love? If you hit on her, gave her a line or some other transparent comment, then I'd say her response was full of sarcasm. But if you just asked her out, then it seems she was saying thanks for asking, I have a boyfriend and I dont cheat on him, but its nice that YOU have the balls to ask a woman out, unlike a lot of men. I'd take it as a compliment. Sorry you didn't get the "prize" though. You should have asked her if her sister is seeing someone.
