Chief understands and loves you for making his life with you wonderful and letting him go with dignity. Ive been there too and it *will* take a while, but it gets easier every day. I am, unfortunately, approaching that decision again in the next year or so with my 16 year old kitty. It will be hard, but I'll do whats best for her as you did with Chief. Blue skies Chief! I dont jump a Flattop Narrow but I do have a similar "L" bracket on my rig. I use the screw thru the bottom of the bracket and a bungie over the top of the camera as you suggest without any problems. The bungie ends are secures by drilling holes in the "L" bracket corners, passing the ends thru the bracket and knotted on the bottom. The loop is then stretched up and over the camera to cutouts on the top bracket corners to secure the camera to the bracket. Works fine. JC

Just got the Strider Karambit. Bad ass knife. Havnt played with it too much cuz I'll end up cutting my arm off spinning it in Karambit fashion.

Lets see. I think I cover all your bases. I have a couple of Spiderco's - a big Civilian which I carry quite a bit, and a smaller one on my tac gear. the Civilian is big and intimidating. A couple of Benchmade's - a CQC-6 and a Darkstar, both that I carry occasionally. A few high-end custom folders that I dont carry cuz they're too pretty and too expensive (I'd cry if I lost one). My current fav is a new one I got from Theuns Prinsloo, kifemaker out of South Africa. Its Beautiful! Got a few custom swords but you didnt ask about swords... JC

45. If youre looking at 1911's its gonna depend on what you wanna spend. For a nice higher end production gun you cant beat a Kimber. Expect $700 - $1000 for those. Springfield makes some good 1911's too. Good luck!

I got the Rio Cali a few weeks ago and I love it! Got a 512 card yesterday for $129 after the $40 rebate. Ive dropped mine a couple of times and I'm happy to report it is still working fine. I looked at the iRiver ones too cuz thats the one I would have gotten had I not gone with the Rio. Decision to go with Rio was based on the FM tuner, the expandability of the Rio and that the Rio is slightly 'armored' so I can drop it. Along with the FM transmitter I got, this is the coolest electronic device Ive played with in while.

Im working the regular job til noon then going to work an 'extra' job till 900pm. Gonna be boring as hell but the extra job pays beaucoup cash money. Its all good.

Finally! Something I KNOW about! Ive moved my 2 cichlid tanks several times and never lost a fish. Heres what I do... Drain as much water as you can carry into a clean 30 gal trash can (I have 2 I use solely for that purpose). Keep in mind a 30 gal trash can of water is gonna be HEAVY! Catch the fish and toss em into the trash (cans). Throw all you plants and decorations into the trash (cans) with the fish. Scoop out your gravel into buckets. Move the tank and reverse the process. Have fun, its a pain in the ass!!

We had a group of tandem students a few weeks ago that included a couple of black ladies. I swear they were pumped beyond belief (as if the rest of us arent!). I was on the ride to alti with them. They were cutting up and all on the way up. Pretty funny stuff! We only have one regular black guy at our DZ. Fairly new jumper, great guy, fun to hang out with...oh wait...thats YOU isnt it JR! Heeee, we gotta go jump man. We havnt done a jump togther yet. SniperJohn
