  3. Hey spencer, how's it going? I'm in the same boat you are. I started out on the 265's for about 25 jumps and than went to a 220 tri for a few jumps and than to a flight concepts 190 pro for 4 jumps to a 190 tri for 2 jumps. The difference is that in full forward drive the flare on the tri's kinda drops you right on the spot, while the flare on the pro kinda does a little turf surf thing. The funny thing is I never had any stand up landings until I started Jumping the smaller canopy's, which by the way I'm loading at 1.1-1.2 go figure. My first canopy is a 190 p.d. saber 2 which I have yet to jump, hopefully next weekend. (BEER) I hope you resolve your canopy issues successfully. As for me however, judging from the posts in this forum if I'm not F**ked up now I soon will be.blue skies

  7. Dude, thats something worth remembering, glad it worked out for you. I on the other hand am a pessimist and have an all black container.
  8. dude i just went thru the search for a new container. in my opinion infinity rocks, they are very well made. from what i hear they allso have the fastest turnaround time on their oders. i went new on pd reseve, main, and cypers. i scored an infinity container off the net, so i could get my rig up right away. Ralf at western parachute sales has them in stock.good luck on your search, blue skies

  15. hi larry, I have alot of the same question you do . I have 25 jumps and my dz just moved me off student gear to rental gear "265 falcon to 220 triathlon." In the meantime I jumped at three other dropzones to see other types of gear.A word of caution one of my boogies ended in my first reserve ride, not all dzs are the sameor will look after you as well as the people who trained you.I just read everything I can get my hands on and fly every strange rig conservitely.good luck blue skys.
