Ya i'm doing the verizon thing and i'm on my third nokia. The nokia phones actually fairly robust, I'v droped one from as high as forty feet and just poped it back togeather and was good to go. I tend to be a little hard on the equipment so it's nice to be able to pick up a cheap replacement. blues jerry

Jump fest is in full swing, along with the pro swoop tour. Buddy call me about 8:00 pm and said otter 22 on 5min call. I was out there most the day, and peeps showing up all day long. I was the only belly flyer on one otter load , it was a plane load of freaks. With two otters and two caravans should be no problem getting up. Two days left, make it if you can. blue skies jerry

Looking good so far, I was on a otter load yesterday that had 12 swoopers on it, took three pass to put them out. It didn't take long to get to alti. blues jerry

IMHO as a new jumper all the canopy maneuvers would be best for me right out of the chute.( no pun intended) At least if you start with the new people in the sport the extra training you propose would soon be the norm. blue skies jerry

HI popeyfireman, Skydive oregon is a uspa DZ and has the newest jumpships in the nation. ( twin otter , caravan ) The drop zone is located on private property and has two main landing areas, one for swoopers with a large swoop pond and a huge area for everyone else. They do alot of tamdems, its not uncommon to have five on a load. They also do AFF. With the good folks from Kapowsin co-hosting the festivities this weekend there will probably be a party of epic proportions. The PST will be fun to watch too. Hit it if you can. blue skies jerry
