  7. for any sabre 1 that hints at opening hard, I would get a dome slider from MEL right away. the way he explained to me a long time ago a pocket slider can 'stand on edge' and still open hard. a dome slider is balanced and more reliable.

  11. spectra is fine but the thin 550 is garbage. is that not the case?
  12. I would not get any canopy relined with 550 microline. I have a friend that replaced the slider on his vengence and it is like a new canopy. opens nice now. get dimensions from PD to check what you have.
  13. the racer snap toggles are bulletproof. I pack lots of other peoples rigs and can see why some have toggles issues....totally preventable.
  14. I like these suggestions. semi stowless? not for me...I want the lines to be more in control during deployment.
  15. I asked PD and as of now they have not done any testing on semi stowless bags.

  18. popular up here in Ontario is the 260 h.p. carb`d IO-470 from Norland Aircraft Services. But we are only at 750 asl. you need more power than that at a high altitude dz? I would think so.

  22. yes but expensive --- at least 90k for a (let's say) 182P? And you will most likely not find one, will need to get it done yourself?
