  1. Not sure if calling it the right thing or not. But there are D-bags that use just rubber bands to close the bag and then there is a pouch on the side of the D-bag to free stow your lines. Anyone know if they have those for mirage containers and if so where can you get them?
  2. I wear a G2 and i use a Pro-Track and a neoXS. I love using this combo. I have mine setup to use my Pro-Track for logging and use it for my normal free fall tones, generally one for about 1,000 ft pre-break off, break off and my don't want to pull any lower than this tone. on my NeoXS i use the free fall tones in it as "oh shit" markers, pull now regardless, chop it now tones etc.. then i have my canopy flight tones..
  3. I'm also a member of the corn fed fat bastard fall like a brick club! I'm 6'2" 220 with exit weight at 255. When i was Going through my AFF my instructor was strapping on 35-40lbs of weight and flying in a ball to keep up with me. Most any student suit i ever jumped i ran a consistent fall rate of 145-155mph+ (even managed a 179mph on my belly once). I happen across a hell of a deal on a custom liquid sky suit second hand that is more of a free fly style (baggy arms and legs). The suit alone got me to the 130mph range without working for it. By chance I got some tunnel time and worked on my body control. I was told by the coach that fat boy like me should be able to arch to the point that i'm damn near folded in half. He took me to a Mantis and has me flying a totally flat position. Also by flying the Mantis i can slow my rate by simply rolling my shoulders foward. So now i'm at the point i can lay base on the 6 way speed star and not wait for everyone to go head down and finally catch me at 8 grand while i'm maxing out what i can do to slow down. Now i'm at a comfortable spot that i dont have to think so much about my position and what i am doing to control my speed.. i can cork out on the skinnies or i can speed it up and dock on a skinnys toes that is in a sit fly...
  4. A few weeks ago I was inside of a gas station that was being held up, the guy with the gun told me to get the "F" out. I did. Wasn't able to get in touch with the police until I got home. It sucks! Someone could be killed and the bad guys get away. Quote Come to Indiana and we can fix that problem ourselves... shoot the pr*ck on the spot game over. Call the cops to mop up...
  5. I'm a redneck... Zack Brown Band.. lol
  6. Excelent to hear, that is exactly what i was looking to hear! thanks!
  7. Not found any reviews or anything out there yet. But looking at the NeoX audible. Primarily i'm looking for an audible for canopy patern use (no where near swooping at this point). I already have a protrack that I am perfectly happy with and just looking for something solely for canopy tones and not so much the data logging etc. Thanks, JB
  8. you say that as if there is a shortage of FL jumpers!! lol
