  1. I would look at farmers or dairyland insurance for motorycycle insurance. i have farmers, but then again I dont have a crotch rocket. both companies like to write motorcycle insurance.
  2. that is some good flying. would NOT want to catch a wheel in the water.
  3. Its about f'ing time. Tell her I want pictures. when?
  4. another fatty checking in. 01 FLSTFI luxury blue and diamond ice, stage 1, V&H big long shots, security, passing lamps chrome brake pedal. since this pic, I've added detachable windshield, backrest, kuryakyn iso grips and cruiser pegs, sundowner seat.
  5. i know where you work, but the roads are perfectly clear in lincoln.
  6. I would try not just an attorney, but the attorney general in your state. You'll end up paying even more for that jump with just an attorney. The AG should have a consumer protection division that you can file a claim. I'm not sure of the timeliness of the process, though. If you do chose that path, post your results so everyone can learn from it.
  7. If I could interject a question... why did you(chris, steve, anyone) choose a fat boy over a softail heritage? I'm planning on getting a fat boy just before next season because I like that XXXL look to the fat boy, but the heritage seems like a very similar bike. what made you choose the way you did? Also, did you ever demo a V rod? I'm curious to get on it because I might like the power, but it'd suck to take on a long haul with a passenger, not to mention the 3.5 galloon tank is a little short.
  8. and no one has mentioned it looks photoshopped?? I mean his tallywhacker is sun tanned. he's pasty white. C'mon.
  9. wouldn't want to get in the way of couchfreaks now would we?
  10. Come join SkydiveCrete this June 11-12th for a weekend with the Skyvan. Beer, food, prizes, bathtub bonfires and our own dropzone theatre. Skydiving, too.
  11. It'll flow, you can select what you want to happen just before finalizing. Go back to menu, play title 2 etc..... Depending on length of footage, it takes about 3-4 minutes. I'm sure you could get faster dvd write speeds but you may run the risk of not working in the customers dvd players. Not sure about the accuracy of this though. Thought of that too, but just another 3-5 minutes you could have spent on another video. We might preload the leader from a DV deck instead of the HDD and see if that creates just another chapter, instead of a new title. Also, I certainly wouldn't choose a VHS tape to be the source of your leader. that's a serious downgrade in quality. Hell, going from dvd to dvd downgrades the quality.
  12. we have the setup you are talking about. We use a toshiba model with 80 gig hard drive. New to us, but so far it works pretty slick and spits out a very nice looking product. I'm not fond of the remote control because it's not all user friendly, but it is usable. the slowest part of the process is trying to type names onto the chapters if you desire(I'm not sure that's necessary) as for the linear editing, I think we have it figured out. The only extra thing we have to do is create a new chapter as it is recording onto the dvd. that may be the same on all dvd recorders, but I don't know. It won't let you go back and create one after editing. The HDD will let you, but not the DVD recorder, which is how we edit the tandem video. The final bug we are learning about is the leader you are asking about. If you store it on the hard drive and preload a bunch of dvd's with your leader, the tandem you edit onto the dvd will be an entirely different title, not just another chapter at the beginning. I'd like to see it as a chapter, and it may be possible, we just haven't figured it out. Only time and tons of footage will tell us if it was worth the extra bucks for a HDD, but I enjoy thought of the possibilities. If you have questions, PM me

Sent to icarus service center in ottawa for a reline, never recieved.
  14. anywhere you can find the cameye II, just ask for version 2.2. This one is compatible with HC-85. Also, I have a D-box for a TRV model(can't remember which) that works very well with this camera. A few minutes with a dremel on the backside for the extended battery helps.
  15. sangiro can you look at my problem? i seem to be having the same problem where it takes me back to my account home page when i try to post an add. I can only view classifieds. PLease help.

  19. yeah yeah, funny it sounds, but tularemia is very serious if you get it. I work at the vet diagnostic center that diagnosed those rabbits. We've had tularemia come thru here before from a friggen squirrel and the pathologist who did necropsy on the squirrel was out for weeks in the hospital from the infection. I believe he may have cut his hand with a blade, but who'd of thought a little common squirrel will be so deadly.
