First jump on my 18th birthday-- October 9th, 2001. So technically I've been in the sport a bit over five years, but I had to quit for two years or so while I've been in college and just started back up again last year. I graduate this May--- weekend warrior, here I come!!

Hey.... thanks to everybody at Nationals. I got to meet tons of cool people and did some great skydives. For the U-Conn bus that made it over to Z-hills with us after the comp-- damn, you guys are cool and I can't wait to party with ya again! Congrats to all the medal winners. does anybody know the competition schedule? Like what events are on what days? I'm only doing two events and I'm sure I don't have to be out there the whole seven days. does anybody else have the problem of not being able to wear contacts because of an astigmatism?? I have been through a million trial pairs and NOTHING ever feels good. Right away it feels bad-- they get really dry, constant feeling of needing to get something out of my eye (they never settle in and "get used to them"), and most move around every time I blink causing my vision to get fuzzy with every blink and I need to concentrate to refocus them. I put myself through the torture to wear them for a day of jumping, but I stick them in right before the 1st jump, and I'm taking them out before my gear is even off from the last jump of the day. Anybody else have this problem or am I a freak?? My sister has much worse vision than me and astigmatism and she's fine in her contacts. I have one more final on Friday-- and my hardest one to boot for my dynamic meteorology class. I'm jealous-- it seems like everybody else is done!!! I can't wait to be done on friday, get drunk on friday night, and jumps my nay-nays off all weekend!!!!!!

People make fun of all the psychology and business majors at my school becuase they take easy classes and get out of here in four years. so yes....you are lucky you're not in engineering classes. I'll have an Aviation Meteorology degree in May. Pros: I get to say that I'm a weather girl!! There are deskjobs which can be boring, but with meteorology stuff its changing all the time so you're always on your toes-- especially when forecasting for an airline or something. Cons: a meteorologists schedule is similar to a doctors schedule. We're 24 hours a day 7 days a week-- weather never stops. So, have to work day shifts and all night shifts when forecasting. Thats almost as funny and the town in Pennsylvania. "Middlesex" and "Intercourse". the launch looked beautiful here from the space coast! Night launches are just gorgeous from any brevard county beach if you get a chance to experience it. Florida Tech in da hizzouussseee!!! ha.. I'm so bad at being ghetto. Just me going from my school though-- everybody else had to go home for xmas. My finals aren't for another two weeks, but it's crunch time with the last scheduled regular exams and the 4 papers/ 1 presentation that is due this week. 1 18 page paper is down, presentation is this tues, and other papers are due next week. Hmmm.... my thanksgiving is going to be pretty untraditional. I'm a student in FL and usually just stay here for thanksgiving since the break is so short, but I broke down and agreed to fly home to Jersey for two days where my parents want to go down to the casino's in Atlantic City and have thursday dinner down there. They are getting older, all the kids are out of the house, and they just don't want to deal with the hassle of dinner and dishes I guess. I'm sure gonna miss a traditional dinner, though!
