They were amazing! 2 sold out shows. Probably could have sold out more. The ESO's Musical Director, William Eddins, was conducting ... his intro to the evening that was that he hoped everyone, himself included, wallked away a "Whiter Shade of Pale". CLASSIC! 'Shell

I just spent a LOVELY evening enjoying the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Da Camera Singers and Procol Harum. Last time they were here with the ESO was -- last night!! - sold out like tonight!!. Prior to that, in 1971 when they recorded this (which was their encore tonight). AMAZING place for their concert. The Winspear Centre. Home of the ESO. 1700 in the seats tonight. WOW!!! GREAT evening.

And I don't understand how some people are so keen on ingesting all kinds of meds... It's a known fact that medication alleviates symptoms but does not cure a cold. Nothing cures a cold. Fluids and sleep help. I find some meds help to alleviate some of the symptoms. I'm not a big fan of medications either. But when I have a cold, I take some Neo-Citran, a few Aleve and go to sleep. The Neo-Citran helps me sleep. The Aleve takes away the aches. If I sleep better, I feel better the next day. Hope you're feeling better soon!!!

I have quit. I am moving on with my life. I thought I'd let those few folks who give a shit about me know what was up, so they wouldn't wonder why I'm not around anymore. I listed my reasons because people have asked. If what I wrote makes skydiving look bad... grow a skin and get the fuck over it. I'm entitled to my opinion on the sport that I've put 20 years of my life into. If you don't like that, fuck you. You are right. I've only been posting here for ten years. When a friend of mine was over in Afghanistan I took my care package over to the base here and they send it over for me. You might want to check into that.
