Awesome group of folks. Super nice, helpful, and the service is fast!

I thought we always neglect air resistance

From what I've read/heard/asked around, you can't go wrong with a Neptune (N3) or Visio 2. I've only put one jump on my N3 (stupid winter...) so I'll leave the reviews to people with more

SNE safety day is held later than most. This year it will be on April 6th.

VIDEO...What options does this skydiver have?

Besides the manufacturer, a combination of my rigger friends who send emails when they hear, DZ.com, and facebook

I don't get it.

You can't go wrong with either one, really. I've never been to Pepperell but I know there's a good group of folks that jump there. Jumptown is about 20 minutes down the road from me and I've always had a great time! I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention my home, Skydive New England. Loads of super nice belly folks jumping all the time and well worth the drive!

The bag will expand because the volume of the air contained inside will increase as the pressure decreases and the bag has a specific geometry. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideal_gas_law I don't see how this would effect packing.

Hey, that's how I failed my level 2. Turns out altis feel kinda like handles

How many jumps do you have and how baggy were the suits you've been jumping? The only reason i ask is because 130+ for your size isn't absurdly quick and wings could possibly be overkill. I'm no expert by any means, but I've been frustrated (probably even overly so) with my fall rate and I've made a significant dent just by working on body position. At 6'7" you've got a lot of surface area. Like I said, not an expert, just some food for thought. I don't have any experience with wings/cords, so I'll defer to those with more experience than I.

If you're worried about security but aren't sure if you want the FF pud, you can get a tuck tab added to a different handle type pretty easily.

Longmont City Council will take up skydiving noise

I don't doubt it, but provoking her just gives her more to complain about (now these mean skydivers are harassing me!). Nobody wants the squeaky wheel to get squeakier. -

You know what's not going to help? Trolling her youtube videos. -
I'll speak for Skydive City then, it's a cool place to be

Have any Canadians bought used gear from the US?
excaza replied to Snowboarder's topic in Gear and Rigging
Ask your rigger to 3rd party the transaction for you. -
Most manufacturers would prefer their discounts not get posted publicly. Just talk to them directly.

That wasn't what he said...

Awesome, I'll check it out. Thanks!

To piggyback on this thread, does anyone have any experience with the DZs around Rio (or Lagoa Santa, but I didn't see any around there)? I'm going to be down in that area in April and as much as I'd like to, I don't think I'll have enough time to travel to Boituva.

Is this not the point of the flat turn work on the B card?
