So if a reporter researching a story gets information from a source that proves to be false, he should still report it, because to do otherwise would be censorship, right?
  2. TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) was signed into law on October 3, 2008. Now think about who signed it.
  3. Have you ever taken a math course in which they taught what the slope of a graph means?

In fact, my preferred gloves (for greasy mechanical work) are the Harbor Freight vinyl ones. They cost less than nitrile or latex. They don't have the latex allergy issue. And most important for me: They are available in XL size to fit my hands. BTW I just noticed today that the postal carrier was wearing nitrile gloves when she delivered my mail.

Here is what an actual leader sounds like in a health crisis, (as opposed to a mentally-impaired clown):
  7. That is a bogus scenario, that I have heard too many times. I have never had such a situation in decades of driving, nor have I ever heard of anyone else experiencing it. The car should do what any rational driver would do: Stay in your lane and apply the brakes. Swerving would be done only IF there was insufficient distance for braking, AND there was no empty lane to swerve into. A human driver has no way of knowing the ages/genders of the occupants of nearby vehicles, nor would an autonomous car.

What is more likely? a) No one told Trump of the limitations of the CDC testing. b) Trump was just spouting off bullshit that sounded good in the moment, just like the other 16,000+ lies he spewed before. Think: Occam's razor.

How the hell is that relevant to the fact Trump said “anyone who wants a test can get a test”??? You would have us believe that a false promise can be defended by proving the promise was false??? What kind of logic is that???

But there is also the certification process for any medical equipment. I'm thinking Tesla may be acting as a subcontractor for an existing design for an existing mfgr with certification.

The governor also noted that Tesla chief executive has also made good on his promise to provide 1,000 ventilators to address an anticipated shortage in intensive-care units. The ventilators, Newsom said, were delivered in Los Angeles. Source: https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/03/23/coronavirus-california-needs-50000-more-hospital-beds-governor-says/ Huh? How the hell did he do that so quickly?

  19. Active Immunity Active immunity is stimulation of the immune system to produce antigen-specific humoral (antibody) and cellular immunity. Unlike passive immunity, which is temporary, active immunity usually lasts for many years, often for a lifetime. One way to acquire active immunity is to survive infection with the disease-causing form of the organism. While exceptions (like malaria) exist, in general, once persons recover from infectious diseases, they will have lifelong immunity to that disease. The persistence of protection for many years after the infection is known as immunologic memory. Following exposure of the immune system to an antigen, certain cells (memory B cells) continue to circulate in the blood (and also reside in the bone marrow) for many years. Upon reexposure to the antigen, these memory cells begin to replicate and produce antibody very rapidly to reestablish protection. Another way to produce active immunity is by vaccination. Vaccines interact with the immune system and often produce an immune response similar to that produced by the natural infection, but they do not subject the recipient to the disease and its potential complications. Many vaccines also produce immunologic memory similar to that acquired by having the natural disease. Source: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/prinvac.pdf
