This coast is pretty damn sweet (gulf coast). We have the most gorgeous sunsets. We do have old people though but they leave around Easter. I'm also about 90 minutes from Skydive City. Sebastian does have a better view at altitude/freefall though. Respect the Dolphin

Final draft of Physics term paper

I read this pretty quickly so sorry if I may missed some topics. I'm not sure if you would want to get into this but one thing I would add concerning body position, especially conerning belly flying, is the the low pressure area above you (burble) that allows you to maintain a belly-to-earth position. Someone somewhere gave the example of a shuttlecock. Also why you want to present to the relative wind when exiting. Then again, you have your five pages. In general, pretty comprehensive. It definitely shows you did your homework. Good job and good luck. -
Shit, hope my girlfriend doesn't start reading the forums. Respect the Dolphin

What do your parents think of your skydiving?

They hate it. I didn't tell them until I was at AFF level 5. We have an understaning that I don't tell them when I'm doing and they never have to come watch. Luckily they live 1200 miles away. They did watch my AFF level 1 video though (probably not what I should have shown them). I think my Mother is somewhat intrigued. My Father acts like I'm hurting him. Tries to use the $$ to make it sound bad. He has no idea what I've spent so far. Respect the Dolphin -
Can you say lawsuit. Sue, sue, sue. Or less sever - significant time off with pay. Respect the Dolphin

Probably about $10,000 just to survive. Subtract $600 in gas if I can't afford to go anywhere to do anything. Respect the Dolphin

Why do you always try to make me look bad? The wet look becomes you. Left Z-Hills in time to catch the hail storm on I-75 south. Respect the Dolphin

Ask Stacy. She says she'll PM you. Respect the Dolphin

I hope they're the short kind so I can show off my sexy hairy belly button. I could wear it with my Speedo. Respect the Dolphin

It was just this past summer that I did AFF. I bought the package that took me from ground school through level 7 for between $1100 and $1200. That didn't include any video or re-jumps (luckily I didn't need them). Respect the Dolphin

Uh, OK. I only watch the first few weeks to see the people that suck. That's entertainment. Respect the Dolphin

Here's a story. My friends wife went out of town for a week. Friend decided not to shave very often. When she got back he had a bit of a goatee. She loved it. He was surprised and asked what I thought about goatees. I thought it was more for college/frat guys. We decided to do a brown bag pole via e-mail to about 20 women we know. I think all but 2 loved the look of the goatee. But beware. They may think it looks cool but hate the way it feels. Respect the Dolphin

My parents don't even acknowledge that I skydive. If I or someone else brings it up they just get this disgusted look on their faces and a disgusted tone of voice. They were down visitng shortly after I started and there was a canopy collision at FL dz that made the news. My father cut the article out of the paper (as if I didn't know bad things could happen). I tried to explain what they had done to cause what had happened but they didn't hear it. Oh, well. Respect the Dolphin

I voted "none" but I've never been diagnosed. I've never been majorly depressed or depressed for a long period of time. I may have some sort of ADD. I have had a few addictions- nicotine, caffein- nothing major. Could there be some other chemical imbalance that may not fit into a standard disorder or any classification in abnormal psychiatry?
