Looking for RIDES... yes plural! I fly in to Orange County on that Thursday AM for the event. Looking for a ride to the DZ. I'm also looking for a ride from the DZ to the San Diego area sometime on Sunday. Will help with gas $$$... and/or beer!

You can't go wrong with any of these... Oklahoma Joe's: 3002 W. 47th St., KCKS (cool place - inside a gas station.) Jack Stack BBQ: (4) locations - Martin City - south of KC; Overland Park; Freight House District (midtown); Plaza. Cheesy corn bake and baked beans are awesome! Arthur Bryants: 1727 Brooklyn, KCMO (friendly suggestion - visit during daylight hours) Don't go to the one out by the Speedway. Not as good as the original. Gates BBQ: 4-5 locations around KC. Be ready to order - as soon as you get close to the counter they yell "HI-MAY I HELP YOU!"

Good luck getting it! This goes on all too often... There was an expose' a few months back about a doctor and his wife collecting welfare, while living in a multi-million dollar house in Florida. UGH.

The original Aurthur Bryant's is good... total hole in the wall place. Not in a good part of town, but go at the right time of day and it's fine. The restaurant at The Legends is pretty bad. Bad location, (hard to get to unless you know where you're going) and the food doesn't taste like it does at the original restuarant. While I like Aurthur Bryant's... I LOVE Jack Stack BBQ!

ENJOY THE RIDE!!! There's plenty of time for you to worry about what happens after the tandem... take in the experience, enjoy the rush of freefall, look at the scenery, geek the cameraman (or girl) if you have one... it'll be a blast!!! There's no re-do's on a first. Just enjoy!

BMI is a crock of shit IMHO... they're trying to generalize what is considered healthy with only two pieces of information. Perfect example is me and my best friend. GIRL A: 5'9", 135lbs., works out regularly, eats good, small bone structure (size 5 ring) GIRL B" 5'9", 135lbs., never works out, eats shit, large bone structure (size 8.5 ring) I give you ring size for no other reason than to compare bone size. Yet we BOTH end up with the same BMI. Who is more healthy? Without the background on us both, you'd assume we're equal - not even close. Do I think models are too skinny? HELL YES... just not sure looking at BMI is the way to go.
